Awesome knife, so so handle

Great all around utility knife. It particularly excels at slicing up tomatoes. I'm knocking a star off because I can't really seem to find a grip on the handle that I actually like for long prep sessions. Though that is probably a personal thing and everyone's hands are different so it may be perfect for someone else.

Classic 6" Serrated Utility Knife

I received our first Classic 6" Serrated Utility Knife from our son as a Christmas gift. For eight years it has provided outstanding service and we started to think it was finally becoming a little less sharp. We bought our second knife and it fulfills everything we remember about our first knife when it was "young." We still use both knives.

This 6” serrated Global knife does not disappoint! The exquisitely sharp blade slices through tomatoes and such with ease and precision. Slicing veggies wafer thin is a breeze. Perfectly balanced for my hands, this knife is a favorite.

Game changing!

This knife is a game changer. I have enjoyed and cared for another brand for nearly 40 years. I decided to try a couple of Global knives and I’m thrilled with them. I don’t recall my current set ever cutting so easily. I more new knives in my future.

Looks very sharp

I've been afraid to use it. Even hesitant to pull it out of its package. I purchased it to be able to slice tomatoes very thin, but since then tomatoes are slicing satisfactorily with established knives.I like having this knife in reserve though. Some food can be hard to slice, and then I can end frustration by using this knife.I like that it's all metal and thus kosherable. An expensive knife should remain usable.

Quality knives that last

I’ve had a block of the global knives for over 20 years. They’ve held up well considering I punish them with daily runs through the dishwasher. One of the knives disappeared so I bought the small serrated knife. It’s a great knife that’s held its sharpness for several years before I’ve needed to sharpen it myself. Anyway loved the knife that much that I’ve bought the longer version.

Very versatile Knife

This knife is very useful. Can be used for most vegetable slicing, especially tough skined ones. It will also cut a crusty bread roll perfectly. No messy crumbs. A great addition to my collection. Love it. Although they say they are rust proof. This is not entiely true - unless you wash and put away your knives as soon as finished cutting etc. Left on the sink wet or food stained they will deteriorate. So look after them they are well worth it.

Global knives are as beautiful to look at as they are to use. They are lightweight, and the textured handle ensures no slippage in the hand. They are easy to clean and never stain or oxidize. Well worth the money for this lifetime investment.

I have a set of Global knives and I love them! I've had good German knives in the past and feel the quality and the smoothness of cutting is so much better with Global knives. I needed a serrated knife to cut tomatoes and to slice sandwiches in half so I bought this knife. I love Global knives so much that I purchased for both of my adult kids...also purchased this serrated knife for a Christmas gift for both!
