I purchased this for the precision tip but it is useless. The tip is threaded but it is smaller than the nozzle and it cannot be screwed in or secured in any other way. Trying to run glue through it only pushes it out.

Great glue gun for fine details
I purchased this for the precision tip but it is useless. The tip is threaded but it is smaller than the nozzle and it cannot be screwed in or secured in any other way. Trying to run glue through it only pushes it out.
More glue drips out of this, than ends up where I want it.
This glue gun has proved to be very disappointing and if it wasn't for the fact that our nearest Spotlight store is 2 hours drive away it would have been returned. We are using the supplied glue sticks and we also bought two more packets of the correct sticks for it. Problems with it are:1. The cord is way too short. This is meant to be used for crafts on, one would assume, a craft table. The only way of getting power to it is by having it on the kitchen bench near a power outlet. The instructions specifically say not to use an extension cord.2. The stand is very flimsy and the unit falls over very easily.3. The gun dribbles glue out the nozzle constantly once it is heated up. You end up with a large pile of wasted glue on a saucer.
