These switches were bought on a whim. Best Buy had them out on display so I clicked them a few times and fell in love. I got myself enough to fit my RK84 and fell in love even more. They’re prelubed, 3 or 5 pin compatible, and sound absolutely amazing. I had no issues putting them in and taking them out of my PCB, and they’re definitely an upgrade from the Gateron Browns that came with my keyboard. I will say the only negative with these switches is if you have an RGB keyboard, they will turn your white or purple/lilac to a cyan blue. Kinda irritating but if it makes it a pretty blue then it’s fine. Great switches!!!

Are these better than hand-lubed and filmed Oil Kings or Kiwis? No. Are these better than every Cherry/Gateron/Kailh/Proprietary switch in every single off-the-shelf keyboard available at the big-box stores? Unequivocally, yes. Could you spend time with those aforementioned switches to make them as good/better than the Lynx Lubed? Of course ...but why spend your time like that when you can just grab a couple boxes of these and enjoy the best out-of-the-box typing experience available?

Having purchased keyboard with hot-swappable switches, I never actually thought that I would be purchasing replacements for a long time. I am incredibly glad that I did! These switches feel fantastic to type on, and sound even better! I didn't realize how sluggish my Cherry MX Reds felt until I started using these. They have just the right amount of actuation for typing and gaming and if you are thinking of getting them, you absolutely should!
I LOVE these switches for typing. They are super silky and light to the touch when typing. The only issue i have with it is for gaming. I feel the soft touch to it didnt fit my liking for intense gaming where i feel i needed some resistance to my keys to know I’m actually pressing them. Maybe I’m crazy but having that feel when gaming is important
Great switches and beginner friendly because I can never (for the life of me) disassemble, lube and reassemble my switches properly. I just got into PCs and I like the more quiet typing sound on my keyboard. These helped a lot and got 2 more boxes of these switches for my friend to try out.
The reason why I took a star off is because if you want an all white keyboard with white LEDs the housing of the lynx switches will turn the white to a cyan. I have a picture of what a clear switch looks like next to the lynx switches and you can see the LED is white for the clear switches and the lynx gives that cyan color. Otherwise amazing switches! Sounds amazing! If you don’t mine the LED thing definitely get them! But I returned mine.
Glorious has been my favorite keyboard production since 2022 and some of their key switches are fantastic, but the lynx linears are especially my favorite ones from them. the keys came prelubed out of the box and slightly sounds creamy.
I highly recommend these switches if you’re looking to get a “thock” sound; pair these switches with the right board material and it will sound great! PLEASE be aware that these are a 5-pin PCB mount switch and will likely need the plastic pins to be cut off before installing on the PCB (just look on your board, if you see two metal holes and a center hole, then you’ll need to cut the two pins off of the switch.) Refer to my photos below to see what you’re looking for. Just because they don’t snap in place immediately, doesn’t mean they’re not compatible!
these are good at first, but will start to fail within a few months. I replaced them in my keyboard 1 by 1 for while and got tired of it so i just took them all out. They start by double clicking/chattering, and just goes downhill from there. I switched to pandas and have had zero issues.
