This mouse is an excellent lightweight mouse. I have tried several mice including the Logitech g502, 503, 203, lightspeed wireless, Razer viper ultimate, viper mini, Basilisk, Steelseries Aeros but this one is right here has a special place in my heart. I love the design of it and while this scores only a 4/5 star for me (because I really love its newer sibling the Model D which for me ranks 5/5) this is the second runner up if you are into FPS games and want to make sure you have the most advantage you can on the games you play. I love the wireless BAMF sensor and that really is the cherry on top of this. If I could I would give this mouse a solid 4.5 STARS but because I want you to have the most ultra light experience of the mouse but also the most ergonomic mouse ... But if that's not your thing then you are gonna be more than happy with this Model O. Its price to performance ratio is on par and better than some of the most "name branded" stuff out there.

The overall build quality of this mouse is quite poor, the plastic doesn't feel cheap and it doesn't scratch easily however the side buttons felt cheap and the cable was made with materials that weren't very durable. Glorious is well known for its terrible qc and I don't think this mouse is an exception. I've had my Model O Wireless for about 3/4 months now and I enjoyed using it. It has crisp mouse clicks and the side buttons don't feel mushy, the scroll wheel is smooth but has a good level of tactility. The mouse was completely fine until about two days ago. The mouse scroll wheel started to scroll one or two steps in the opposite of the direction I was scrolling. I ignored it as I figured it wasn't that big of a deal, but it got really annoying when it started to occur randomly. I'm also talking trying to change item slots in games like Minecraft, CS:GO and CoD. The mouse itself is good but Glorious' quality control is a problem. You can personally get the encoder of the mouse replaced but that would require you to buy a compatible encoder and a soldering iron.

- The Glorious Model O fits very well with my hand size (medium - large) and grip type (claw).- Very competitive price point when compared to similar mice (Logitech Pro X Superlight, Razer Death Adder V2, etc).- Glorious core, the accompanying software program, is unobtrusive and provides some very nice features like being able to set different RGB brigthnesssettings for both wired and wireless use or turning off RGB entirely after X minutes of inactivity.- The superlight weight design places minimal amounts of stress on my wrists and forearm during use and the stock mice feet glide seamlessly across my oldworn out mouse pad.- I have had zero issues with battery life. With my current RGB settings, and diligently turning off my mouse when my computer is not in use, I onlyneed to charge maybe once a week, if that.I can very easily reccomend this mouse. 9/10. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that the weighting seems to be a little top heavy rather than evenly distributed across the whole body. Realistically, this is something only an enthusiast would notice when daily driving this mouse and is a minor nitpick only.
I purchased this mouse a month ago and have been using it since. Before using this mouse I had the wired version to this model o. This mouse gives me more free-range and with the RGB off it has a battery life of at least three days without charge! It's also still pretty light compared to the wired version. I'd recommend buying the wireless version over the wired because the wired Model O can have wire issues after at least 9 months of use or if the wire is bent in any way. Overall there is no downside to using this mouse at all. Using the RGB is still an option but you might have to charge it pretty often. You can also play wired with the detachable USB-c cable that comes with the mouse. In the wired form you can use the RGB as much as you want. The software is easy ... I love this mouse, it really exceeds my expectations. I used to be a wired-only user maining a Viper Mini. Switched to this on a whim, and instantly loved it- and I used to be an Ergo user before the Viper but now I'm converted.I actually liked this mouse a lot of the box already, but it wasn't until I tried the Viper Ultimate right after that I fell in love with this one. It didn't take a full day until the Viper Ultimate already started freezing and glitching (with Synapse both installed and uninstalled) and costing me games. In effect, the advantages of this mouse were highlighted to me: costs much less, the feeling of the smooth plastic is nicer feeling than Razer's plastic, and the shape is identical to the VU but for some reason (I cannot fathom why) the ... There's a millimeter difference somewhere but makes a world of difference to me.Without referring to any of the paper/sensor/latency specs, the Model O feels way more direct for a wireless mouse than the VU, which feels ever so slightly floaty.Did not have a SINGLE freezing/stuttering issue in the week I've owned it, compared to the 1 day it took the VU.The clicks are better for me. They're crisp, the VU's are mushier. The scroll wheel is softer, less tactile but more comfortable.RGB is obviously better than VU.It feels lighter than the VU (because it is).No squeaks on my copy yet, hope it stays that way.The only con is it doesn't have a kick-butt charging dock, and when RGB is on at all, you're not going to get anywhere near the 70 hours advertised which is for RGB off. I like RGB on for this because it actually looks really nice and can match my kb, but that means I have to charge every day. I just wish it had better battery or fast charging. But all in all, this is my new Endgame since it beats out the supposedly "King of Wireless" Viper Ultimate, which is so impressive for the price Glorious put this at. Highly recommended.
Had this mouse for about a year. Worked just fine for that year up until a couple nights ago. I've had my fair share of rage moments but I never take it out on my hardware. Anyway, the mouse 1 button snapped off randomly while in a game. I always liked this mouse for the lightweight, but for 50 bucks you'd expect it to last more than a year. Never had any issues with this mouse until recently for that one issue. But now the mouse is unusable because the button is snapped off and slides off every time i try to put it back on. Definitely a cheaply made mouse, I guess when I decided on this mouse I sacrificed having quality heavy hardware. But for 50 bucks I mean come on. You could find a cheaper mouse thats better heavier quality than this mouse. Disappointed.
If this is an upgrade from a corded mouse or you're separating from Razer products this is a good mouse. The Dongle feels cheap like less than $1 in BOM, Dongle appears to be reused from another devices cast. The extender or whatever it's called that allows dongle to use the 'USB C' cable it moves inside where the USB C plugs in and the cable will only go all the way in on one side, there are 2 horns on the USB C cable that taper plus flat leaving you with only 1 side to put the USB C connector in.Cable is light average connectors not great or bad except for the design of the horns on the USB C side those make it a 1 way only. The mouse is smaller than my G903 in all areas, their claim it's for large hands ? Large leprechaun hands maybe or the large hands of a small child or large hands on a clock.Distance moved issue matched dpi my G903 which is at "1950" the MODEL o only makes it just over half screen height, the build height limits the leverage for better height, setting the Dpi at 2550 on the Model o and it just make the top and bottom of screen for me resolution 2560x1440.The scroll wheel feels cheap like on most mice now, Have not had one last more than a few weeks without the scroll becoming loose to the point of side motion stepping the scroll wheel it plagues all mice when these cheap .10 cent mechanical encoders are used. The buttons feel good "this won't last cheap Omron switches weeks or months depending on weather humidity etc the contacts develop corrosion on surface making it an erratic switch" the sensor picks up good and adjustable from the software without a Facebook or some other social media garbage.Personally the Scroll wheel and the build volume the use of Omron Switches ruin this mouse for me,Old Microsoft Intelli mouse size would've been better..The left and right button switches feel are the cheap Omron's which thanks to Logitech I can no longer tolerate these because of mis-clicks and de-bounce and de-click whilst dragging too erratic after minor use..I will be replacing the switches with a better plated type.
Pros:- Very lightweight design (one of the lightest on the market, very much the Superleggera of mouse peripherals, without a hefty pricetag).- Decent RGB customisation out of the box (and even switch it off if you prefer).- Familiar and great ergonomic, ambidextrous design for most hand sizes (my fleshy digits are quite long piano fingers).- Braided cable.- Silky smooth mouse movement thanks to a fantastic set of mouse feet.- Honeycomb design for lightness also doubles as a great palm ventilator.Cons:- Doesn't really have that much of a premium feel. Unfortunately, it does feel quite cheaply built. Even the braided cable doesn't sit quite as tightly as Logitech or Razer braided cables, and it looks a bit roughly attached as a result. Unfortunately, it does feel quite cheaply built. Even the braided cable doesn't sit quite as tightly as Logitech or Razer braided cables, and it looks a bit roughly attached as a result. Also, the serial and model details are an enormous sticker/tag wrapped around the cable close to the USB side, which can be quite cumbersome when you're trying to route cables neatly, and is destined to rub off. I'd recommend getting a photo of the tag prior to using it, just in case.- Most peripherals these days have an ecosystem specific to their mouse configuration, and this is no exception, although the logo and the software feels "cheap" as well.- I've been treating this mouse like it's a new kitten, yet already I'm finding left clicks are sometimes not clicking down, and the right mouse button is sometimes getting stuck down during general gaming use.- Inside the honeycomb exterior, the inner circuits are exposed and aren't covered in any way. Presumably this is to obsessively ensure every last gram is shaved off, however I have noticed that the circuits do give off a bit of heat that you'll notice on your palm. I'm concerned for the longevity of this mouse as a whole, but it does come with a 2 year warranty, so take that as a pretty positive reassurance.Bottom line:Overall, this really is a very light, very smooth moving mouse with a really fantastic sensor. It has a few minor flaws here and there, but for the majority, these are not deal-breakers, especially with such a great price point. Recommended if you're looking for a "just above the bottom of the range" wired gaming mouse that'll fit hands correctly.
This review was composed 3 weeks after purchasing the product. I am not a professional mouse reviewer so keep that in mind.Firstly, I would like to say that I mainly play Minecraft, but also play fps games frequently. This mouse is designed perfectly for fps games, as the lightweight design of the mouse allows for more accurate and easier flick shots. This is no longer a feature unique to this mouse, as there is a whole lineup of mice similar in weight and shape to this one, but this one is one of the first and has some of the best build quality, without sacrificing any weight. In addition, at only $50, it's not considerably more than many of these cheaper, but worse, mice made by other companies. The side buttons, while standard on practically every gaming mouse ever, are still a nice touch and can make swapping weapons or activating abilities easier if you like having that key bind on your mouse. However, having only 2 side buttons prevents me from being able to recommend this for mobas and mmorpgs, because these games like to have more side buttons than 2, which can be found on many other mice. Other than that, the scroll wheel works fine, the buttons have a nice tactile response, and I've had no issues with the wire. However, some reviews have cited a squeaky right click and/or scroll wheel, and some have referred to an issue with the cord that causes random disconnects and reconnects. To the best of my knowledge, the majority of users are not affected by the squeak issue, and the cord issue has been resolved, but your mileage may vary. My mouse, however, has shown no signs of any issues, even after suffering massive amounts of mouse abuse.Speaking of mouse abuse, this takes me to the second part of my review, which is focused on a much more niche community, aka people who sweat minecraft pvp and need to click fast. I cannot speak to the long-term durability of any mouse, as I will break almost any mouse within a year or so because of how much I click the mouse buttons. This is because my drag clicking tends to get 60+ cps long drag and about 20 short drag, and my butterfly gets about 20 cps on low debounce time mice. Debounce time is a feature on most gaming mice designed to prevent double clicking, which is unfavorable in most games. This type of double clicking is NOT A MACRO, but is the result of pressing the button in such a way that causes it to bounce and record multiple button presses. The glorious software for the model o allows you to change the debounce time from 16ms (higher than the 10ms standard on most razer and logitech mice), all the way down do 0ms, meaning literally every click will register. This means for competitive minecraft players, they can change the debounce time to 0 to maximize click speed, while not compromising the large community that doesn't like double clicking mice. Finally, many people say the Model o cannot drag click, but with a low debounce time, it can. Many people need tape to learn how to drag click on this mouse, but not all. I wouldn't reccomend it as a FIRST drag clicking mouse, but for any player who will not be drag clicking, or will simply not be needing stupid high cps, the Model O is a very solid choice. The rgb is very nice, and cleaning is relatively easy, given you just need to spray it with air. In addition, the ambidextrous shape will appeal to many left handed people, and the light weight and standard shape makes it good for portability, though you will want to have a protective case for it when you take it somewhere. There is also a low latency wireless option available on Glorious's webpage for $30 more, but they do charge shipping on sub-$100 purchases (example: i would have had to pay 8 bucks extra). There are very few flaws with this mouse, and while i could explain how I wished the Model D had a better thumb rest, like my g502, this wouldn't be good on a Model O as it is an ambidextrous mouse, and as such I would heavily recommend this mouse for FPS games and Minecraft.
