Glossier You Glossier Women Eau De Parfum Spray 50 ml

I have a fragrance collection of 40+ scents, and Glossier You is my number 1 favorite perfume. Does that make me basic? Perhaps, but you’ll have to pry Glossier You out of my cold dead hands. I’ve never smelled the old formulation of You, but despite everyone else saying the new You formula is trash, *I* for one am absolutely enamored. This perfume is light, slightly floral, a little musky, peppery, clean, and effortless smelling. You is the jeans and white t-shirt of perfumes. I have almost never finished a fragrance (again, 40+ bottle collection) but I finished a full sized bottle within a few months of purchase. I’m on my second bottle, and have the large bottle ready to go as soon as I finish it. I think I’ll love this fragrance forever. Longevity isn’t the best, which I’m sure contributes to why I’ve gone through my bottles so fast, but it’s enough for me. I assumed sillage was similar, but I’ve been surprised a couple of times by people complimenting it while I’m out and about—it’s stronger to others than you may realize! A great everyday scent for work, bedtime, cool girl activities, etc. Comp frags: Montagne “Moi?” (crafted to be as similar to the OG You formula as possible, apparently quite successfully according to the people who’ve had the fortune to smell the OG), and Bath and Body Works Kaleidoscope.

I personally bought both the travel roller ball and atomizer perfume. I think the packaging is simple and gorgeous. It isn’t complicated and keeps their brand colors included. As someone who loves warm, spicy, sweet, skin scents I would totally recommend this scent. It’s pink pepper note is very forward when first applied, but as it dries down it smells more warm. Projection wise, I think it’s a more personal scent. If someone is within a foot or two of you they might be able to smell you wearing You. by Glossier, but it’s definitely not a scent that will reach out and fill a room. Although, I feel as if this scent lasts the majority of the day. I noticed my clothes will smell like this perfume even a day or two after not wearing them. This is my go-to everyday fragrance. It smells very light, slightly powdery, creamy, and intimate, with notes of pink pepper and iris that top off the scent adding that bit of sweetness and warmth. It definitely smells different on the skin after a few minutes of the initial spritz, leaning more towards the spice and warmth, while not being overbearingly so. It’s a very feminine scent in my opinion, and I love it for everyday wear !! However, I took off two stars because it doesn’t last very long on me, and after about 45 minutes, it’s reduced to a very faint scent that I can only smell if I deliberately raise my wrists to my nose to sniff. A TRUE must have, seriously

I have been using this product for two years now. And do we have a journey! I do switch up scents every now and again and have always come back to this (i.e. layering and always using this as the base, or using on its own) and the smaller bottle and the roller ball have lasted me that long! I love this perfume, and You and i have had a tumultuous relationship lol.In the first month: loveddd, obsessed the moment i put it on. Felt like a queen because everyone told me i smelt good.Then: i started to shift, finding the scent mediocure for the sole reason that it seemed like it didnt last long because i couldnt smell it after about 45min to an hour (like a lot of the other lower reviews mention). Adore the scent, but not impressed with the bottle

I absolutely love this scent. It's so comforting, warm but fresh. It's fine if you leave it out on a shelf or on your dresser, but I would not recommend throwing it into your bag, as you'll lose a majority of your product if you do. I've yet to try the travel size, perhaps it is more equipped to bangs that it wouldn't leak as much, but the price has me weary in case it still leaks. I can't justify 40 euro on 8ml of product if it will leak.I love this perfume, but there are certainly areas to improve. I've bought this for several friends as graduation/ birthday/ Christmas gifts, and everyone loves it, but have always warned people about travelling with it.

Close to being a hit

I have not tried any other perfumes from this brand so I cannot compare against others. I am also more of a fragrance novice. Some of the main notes in this perfume are common to others I enjoy: vanilla, sandalwood, amber so I definitely enjoy that aspect of the perfume. This perfume has some extra notes to it thought which I am not sure are really for me. First I assessed this on a card just to get a general idea of the scent. It seemed pretty strong and even the next day I still smelled it on the card sitting next to me at my desk. I then tried it on my neck as I usually apply perfumes. It does smell more natural when on the skin but to me it is pretty strong considering I can still smell it on myself for quite some time. I also never realized the indent on these bottles is shaped for your hand to grasp the bottle better. Neat feature.

I Can’t Live Without This Fragrance!

I have so many fragrances, perfumes, and body sprays. I even have the body hero and oil, which I love its scent. Reading an outstanding review on Byrdie, I decided to try this fragrance. I have come into my Glossier era recently with its simple skincare routine and minimal, light, effortless makeup. I’ve gone from full glam to peeling back the layers, simplifying, and embracing the natural. This fragrance ties it all together. Today was the 1st I’ve ever smelled it. The moment I pumped the first splash and smelled my wrist, my eyes rolled back. It was something I’d never smelled, yet familiar, like a nostalgic scent of my mom from childhood that never existed (I hope that makes sense). This will forever be my favorite signature scent (beating out Baccarat…so that’s a huge statement).

I love this perfume and wrote a real review with 1 star and it’s interestingly that it appears nowhere!!!I really do love this perfume but not enough to pay $72 for a 50ml bottle and only be able to use 1/2 to 3/4 of it! Apparently Glossier doesn’t want anyone seeing negative reviews with one star so I am rewriting it with 5 stars in hopes of helping someone else! I would totally rewrite this to be a true 5 star review if Glossier would ever acknowledge my issue and at least offer to somehow compensate me but they never reply to my emails! Five strong grown men have tried to remove the cap so I could trim the tube but were unable to as the cap was on in such a way that the bottle would have broken!I hope they fix this issue and also compensate me b/c again I love the perfume but I can use a dupe that’s pretty darn close!P.S. This has been on the last 4 bottles I’ve bought- 2 directly from Glossier and 2 from Sephora.

This scent was gross to me then it grew on me. When you first spray it has an awful chemically smell like bug spray. But as I went about my day and started to notice it more the more i liked it. Its slightly sweet and floral. Kind of mature and sophisticated, what I imagine a girlboss smells like on her way to the office in the summer (lol). My boyfriend also loves it a lot, he says its like I used a scented soap because it doesn't overpower my natural scent. The only thing I can't get over is the price, it is a very subtle fragrance, I am allergic to perfume but this one is so subtle it doesn't trigger my allergies. I find it lasts ok throughout the day, but its hard to justify the purchase for such a small amount. The rollerball might be the way to go for a more intense application, I think maybe they changed the formula because I remember receiving a sample when they first released this perfume on the glossier website. I think it was also much more intense, floral, and feminine, now it feels more androgynous which isn't a bad thing, just not what it once was.

You is the most perfect name for this scent, it really is ‘you but better.’ A gorgeous skin scent that makes it seem that you just naturally smell really good. This is a sexy, musky, warm and slightly sweet scent. I don’t know what it can be compared to, but it’s just so gorgeous to me. I think this is the ultimate ‘clean girl’ scent and really perfect if you’re after something inoffensive and for all occasions.I get that scent is subjective, but I sense that some people might not like this perfume because it isn’t very ‘loud.’ No, this is not a perfume with a massive scent trail that will fill up any room that you walk into. If that’s what you’re after, it’s probably not for you. However for me, that is a great thing.
