I’m a big fan of glow skincare and have a few products from their range in my collection so was extremely excited to see this in our best in beauty box! In typical Glow fashion the packaging was cute yet simple and practical, nothing too over the top just a plain squeeze tube that stands on its lid ensuring that you get as much product as possible. On first use I noticed the consistency to be quite fluid for a facial moisturiser, reminded me more of a body moisturiser. There was no fragrance added which gave it the plain sorbolene smell. On application the product spreads generously due to its consistency covering the face easily with a small amount. It soaked into my skin after a minute or 2 leaving it feeling slightly tacky which was promising for makeup ... MoreI’m a big fan of glow skincare and have a few products from their range in my collection so was extremely excited to see this in our best in beauty box! Under a light makeup it held well, my concealer didn’t slip over a 6-8hr wear day and my blush and bronzer blended quite well over it (I tend to conceal under eyes and problem areas only and bronze and blush on a light day). I also set makeup with a setting spray only and no powder which is great, and after everyday use my skin did not breakout at all or have any reaction to the moisturiser. I didn’t see any improvement or change in my skin either so for me it only acted as a good primer for my makeup, I will say I didn’t notice that areas of my skin that often are dry and flaky were not noticeable when using this which is amazing as I find it difficult to cover those areas especially with a concealer so this was great.

This is the first glow lab moisturizer and light moisturser i’ve purchased and used. There always has to be a first for everything. So, i cleansed my face using a different brand and product then followed it by this moisturizer. I have to say its very light to a point i don’t feel like i moisturised my face after using it. I took this on holiday with me while traveling to very hot climates, and it was quite good for such situations because i was constantly hot and sweaty (gross) and a heavy or thick moisturiser would have made my situation worse. But i personally would not use this daily when living in NZ as the atmosphere here really dries out my skin and this wouldn’t work for me. To be honest, im not rushing back to buy some more anytime soon.

The Glow lab facial moisturiser is a good everyday moisturiser that can be used day or night. It contains no SPF so will need layering with sunscreen when using it it during the day and you aren't planning to be indoors. For this very reason I enjoyed using this moisturiser as I am predominately at home give the lockdown due to the pandemic and without the sunscreen ingredients, I find the moisturiser light, hydrating and so easily absorbed into my skin. It is lightly scented with essential oils of botanicals which smells fresh and not overpowering on application. I also liked the fact that the ingredients are mostly natural based using seed oils and vitamin E to provide hydration to all skin types, even sensitive, irritated skin as I didn't feel any stinging ... MoreThe Glow lab facial moisturiser is a good everyday moisturiser that can be used day or night. The hydration level is average so if you have very dry skin you may need something that is more emollient so I think this moisturiser has the perfect consistency for use during the Spring and Summer seasons. I found that as I need a more emollient product and I don't want to use this layered on top of a serum for test purposes, I've only really used this a day moisturiser since it mixes well with other face products without balling, it's easy to use to layer for additional hydration or protection. In one week's use of the product, my skin is soft, well hydrated and fresh looking. without any breakouts or irritation. I'm now going to try it at night too with other products to see if it would amplify the results of my night time skincare products.

If you are looking for a natural moisturiser that is not too heavy and absorbs quickly give this one a go. I’m always up to trying another facial moisturiser so when I received the Glow Lab I was keen to see how it would perform especially under makeup. I like the fact that this moisturiser contains a powerful blend of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, boosted with vitamin E to soothe and protect the skin. It comes in a plastic tube and I love the fact that it has a flip top lid. It makes it so easy and fuss free to apply. The scent is kind of nutty which is probably because of the macadamia, so I am pleased that this moisturiser has a scent which is not too strong. A small amount is all that is needed to cover the face and neck. It absorbs fairly quickly and leaves the skin feeling smooth and nourished. Although it leaves a bit of a glow it is not at all greasy. I use the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser during my morning skincare routine because it is not heavy and it works well with layering. My primer and foundation apply well over the top and stays in place all day. I think the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser is a lovely product and I have no hesitation in recommending it. It is great to wear on its own or under makeup. The cream absorbs nicely into the skin and doesn't leave any residue behind. I just wish it had SPF because I like my products to have both as it makes my skincare routine much easier. Overall, it is a really nice light moisturiser and I would recommend it.
The Glow Lab facial moisturiser comes packaged in a squeeze tube with a flip top cap with 100mL of product. The design is simple and practical. I like that the moisturiser is in a squeeze tube – I find this easy to use and it lets me dispense the right amount of product to avoid waste. The moisturiser dispenses as a white lotion of medium consistency. The product has a noticeable fragrance – it smells like a blend of essential oils which I quite enjoy, particularly as part of my night-time skin care routine as I find the scent very calming. I used the Glow Lab facial moisturiser both morning and night as the last step in my skincare routine and I’ve loved the results. My skin is looking moisturised, healthy, radiant and feels very soft. While the moisturiser is lightweight, it effectively hydrates my skin while using actives like glycolic acid which can be drying to the skin. I’m very happy with the performance of this moisturiser and plan to continue using it.
I was given the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser to try as part of the Best in Beauty 2021 trial. I’ve seen their range at Woolies and Priceline but only tried one or two of their products. I’ll be honest, I was very apprehensive about trying this face moisturiser, with the reason being I react to almost all face moisturisers because of a common thickening ingredient that seems to be in everything! My daily staples are La Roche-Posay Toleriane moisturisers which are the few products I don’t react to. I cautiously applied the Glow Lab cream and was absolutely gobsmacked when I didn’t react! A quick skim of the ingredients showed that it lacked the one I react to so it was an amazing surprise that I’ve finally found another moisturiser I can use. A quick skim of the ingredients showed that it lacked the one I react to so it was an amazing surprise that I’ve finally found another moisturiser I can use. Another thing I was quite struck by was the generously large 100ml squeeze tube when most face creams are half, if not a quarter of that size and it’s amazingly affordable too. To put it into perspective, my current facial moisturisers are less than half the size and two to three times as expensive which makes me think that this would make a good alternative if I run out of my usual and it isn’t on sale. The one downside I found and the reason I took off a star is that I found it wasn’t hydrating enough in the still at times cool (and always dry) weather here in Canberra and left my combination skin wanting more. It might be better suited to my skin in summer weather. Overall, I would highly recommend it and I am seriously considering repurchasing it in the warmer months. Another wonderful BH find that I wouldn’t have even considered!
Comes housed in a 100 ml squeeze tube with a flip lid which I like to keep products from spoiling. The tube says that this product is dermatologically tested, is PH balanced and contains vitamin E. Other Ingredients include shea butter, macadamia and rosehip oil. The fact that this product is antioxidant rich is great to know to keep my skin protected from environmental elements. This is quite impressive to start with. Directions say to apply over face and neck on cleansed skin. As i applied, I noticed the product has a thinnish, light, non greasy texture and absorbs into the skin quite quickly. Perfect for day use and is great for when your in a rush in the morning to prepare for the day. A little goes a long way and I found approximately the size of a 50 cent coin was sufficient to cover my face, neck and top of my décolletage. I did detect a nice, light florally scent to the product which was quite pleasant and didnt linger. Throughout the day, my skin did feel satisfyingly hydrated, protected and plump. During use, I experienced no irritation, no balling issue with makeup, however I did give sufficient time for the product to absorb prior to applying sunscreen and make up. With a price point of around $16, I think this is a smart investment into your skin at a bargain price. Furthermore, this product is often on sale at Woolworths and Big W for half that!
This facial moisturiser is part of Glow Lab's original line-up of facial skincare. It comes in a generous 100ml tube with a snap top. It contains natural nourishing ingredients like Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil, Glycerin, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E. It is made in New Zealand and is vegan and cruelty-free. Even though this has fragrance from a blend of essential oils, it is very light and pleasant. For someone like myself who dislikes any strong fragrance either artificial or synthetic in facial skin care, it is fine as it is barely there. In terms of texture, it is very light and non-greasy, and absorbs quickly on my combination skin. It works well being layered over serums and under sunscreen and make-up, and does not interfere with anything or cause piling. In winter, this moisturiser isn't quite enough for me as I feel tightness after half a day, but in the warmer months it will be perfect as my skin becomes less dry then. It may suit normal to oily skin types better. This is product is easily available and very affordable. It doesn't have a lot of active ingredients besides the antioxidant properties and vitamin content from the natural ingredients themselves, but it does allow you to customise your skin care routine with the use of serums targeted to your needs. It's also a really good option for those who prefer a natural or vegan product.
I received a full-sized tube of Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser in the Best in Beauty 2021 Box to trial for free from Beautyheaven. It did not feel deeply nourishing - I felt like my skin needed a little more moisturisation. However, after a lifetime of having oily skin, at 55, my skin is finally starting to normalise. I would recommend this moisturiser for summertime. Made in New Zealand. PAO 6M. Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser claims to quench skin, provide long-lasting hydration and protection for all skin types. Its ingredients include macadamia oil, rosehip seed oil, Shea butter, vitamin E to protect from free radicals and fight signs of premature ageing. A bit of disclaimer here, my facial and neck skin is so oily that I’ve never quite used a facial moisturiser on top of the moisturising I get from the serums and creams I use on my skin to target specific skin issues. Therefore, I don’t think I could make an objective review because I’m not going to stop my regular routine to solely trial the product, but instead, will use this on top of my regular routine even though I don’t feel the need for additional moisturising. The product claims to be for all skin types, so I will test and review it against my skin type. The product is lightweight with an inoffensive light scent. It takes a while for it to absorb, but after a while it did not leave behind a residue. My skin got shinier quicker than usual, so I guess it is moisturising, but that being said it might not be for oily skin that doesn’t need additional moisturising, which is weird because then it won’t exactly be for all skin types but why would you buy a moisturiser if you don’t want/need moisturising? Sorry, I guess what I mean to say is, I wouldn’t purchase this because I don’t need it, but I trialled and reviewed it because it was part of the Beauty Box that I have to review. The best part I could say is, it didn’t break me out and it didn’t hinder my regular products from working.
