I am discussed about the differences in the Gluerna’s Powder drink mixes from the Chocolate vs the vanilla cans. $45 to the vanilla at $18 . Just because there is a higher demand on the chocolate vs the vanilla can, why does your corporation think that it’s fair to do that to the American public. If you weren’t so greedy in gaining profit, the public would continue to purchase your Glucerna Chocolate powder drink more often. As for this consumer, you have lost my business because of your gouging attitude, and I’m sure I won’t be the only one. Shame on you!

This product is good if you can mix it very well, but I did try adding it to coffee as is suggested on the canister, but it did not mix in well at all. It was lumpy but still tasted okay. It is better if mixed well with water and probably good with ice, also. I was looking forward to having it as a mix in to coffee, so I will have to mix it before hand with water, and then add it to coffee; have not tried that yet, so can't be sure it will work. The taste is good, not having sugar is great, and I think it should be a great product for those who need it, and less expensive than the pre-made bottled ones, plus better on the environment.

Great taste not bad. Good with water, great with 1% or skim milk. Every morning, I add one scope, 8 oz of 1% milk or almond milk, three frozen strawberries, 3 to 4 frozen banana slices and about 1/2 tsp of Cacao Powder in a blender. Absolutely amazing. Now gauge this based on your sugar response because you will get sugar from the strawberries. I was high type 2 and now a .01 away from being pre-diabetic. This helped but just with water and the one scope. Once I got my A1c down down, I started adding the extras. ** Please follow my recipe with caution. ** But overall, I like the powder better than the shakes I have been using it for over a year and a half now. Last longer, invest in a shaker or one of those personal blenders.

This is a horrible tasting shake, while you drinking it and AFTER,the taste of magnesium left in one's mouth, you might as well drink a big dose of Mylantha or whatever the name is.I ve tasted other shakes,Atkins tastes much better.Bottom line, this is a horrible tasting shake,AND you cannot prepare it one day ahead of time bc it will spoil. It is a NO BUY for me,and do not recomend it to any one.$20.00 that I wasted. uugh!!
I would have given this a 5 star rating if this came in strawberry 🍓 flavor. Other than that, I love this product! It made me feel full for about four (4) hours %26 that's GREAT for my greedy behind!! 😆 I would put in 1 scoop into my blender, a few fresh strawberries 🍓, ice cubes🧊, 1 cup 1% milk %26 blend away. I'd have this for breakfast %26 lunch. Then would eat my dinner. You get A LOT for your money too. Highly recommend for any diabetics out there. I have Type 2 %26 it helps control my sweet tooth %26 my appetite.
Posting again - buyers, pay attention to the nutritional label. The Hunger Smart visual branding makes it easy to assume the powder is an equivocal replacement for one version of the shakes, ie, the bottled ones. It is not. This is protein powder, albeit, supplemented for those of us with diabetes. There is (?) 1 carb, and the directions say to mix with water.I'm not saying there's no utility here for certain users. As is, it was absolutely not appropriate for me as what I first hoped/assumed was a messy, less tasty but hopefully more economical replacement for the bottled shakes -which I love. Could it still be a nutritional DM tool? Yes. But don't get into trouble with the lack of carbs. You won't find them in this mix. It is mis-marketed, if not ... Abbot, I think you can do better on this point for current users and those of us you hopeto keep as long-time loyal customers.
I need to love this but…..nope! The liquid one in the box that is supposed to be the same thing is 100% better (but more expensive) so I opted for the powder to save $$. The powder taste nothing like the premade version.I am used to drinking various protein and diabetic powder drinks but this one is the worst ever!
The flavor is not bad when mixing in a blender. I really enjoy making my breakfast drinks with this powder. I mix this with 4-6oz of water and frozen berries and it is so good! For my lunch drink I use same amount of water but adding either strawberries and sugar free Hershey's chocolate syrup or I add sunflower nut butter to the mix for protein. I am eating/drinking as a diabetic who is lactose intolerant so this is my go to for when I NEED to eat but on the go at work.
Well, I wish I found the reviews before I opted for the powder version. My doctor gave me the protein shake. I thought it would be saving money buying powder and having more on hand - not. I tried it the first time with water. It would not mix well. There were the lumps that were left then I tried it in coffee that was a huge mistake. Not ready to try more. This is not working and a waste of money.
My husband was out to Walmart on Dirksen Pkwy, Springfield IL couple weeks ago standing in line waiting. His turn to go to cashier. A man came in walked straight to the caheier and she waited on him. My husband, Ronell asked what this line is for?Of course he was very irate and said some unkind words about what happened. A pharmacist laughed about the incident and my husband said few choice words to him also. Now we got a text saying he’s banned and can’t get his meds from there anymore.Long story but I wanted to tell his side of the incident.
