This is an inexpensive, entry level set that works together really well. t has a really strong clear signal in and out. Would definitely recommend :)

haven't bought one, but family member did. good compact set, only downside is the connecting plug for the mic, they have moved from a robust 4 pin with screw retaining ring plug, to a flimsy push in data/phone plug. in a 4x4 you want things to stay connected, not break and fall out on that I would not recommend, in a situation/placement not subject to harsh treatment, maybe OK

I have always had GME radios never any other brand and always have never had any problems at all. I bought this particular model because my son needed it to fit in his vehicle in a specific place. I was a bit hesitant about the size of the unit and thought oh well get one and see what happens, well wow this unit would have to be the best two way I have ever bought. Nothing wrong with any of the others, this unit for its size has the most awesome clarity, volume and so easy to put into the smallest places it is a super unit. So in saying this my wife changed her car so i straight away bought another for her car, even my auto electrician said wow these units are unreal.
