We love our GME radio as it's user-friendly and very easy to read. Picks up plenty of stations.

Pros: Easy to use and enter frequency. Squelch is good. Very good reception on air band. Shortwave is also very good on reception. I like the compact size. I can either use the batteries (portable) or at home, take them out and use a 6V DC power pack as power supply to radio. Antenna is of good length and size.The receiver features an exterior antenna socket which is good for connecting a long wire antenna, or an active antenna unit. Although it is small, it can receive SSB and CW (Morse) transmissions. It can receive both Mono and Stereo FM transmissions. The unit also has an earphone output socket and fine tuning control. Cons: Takes a while to get used to the left hand side mounted volume control. The LCD display can only be viewed properly when looking directly ... MorePros: Easy to use and enter frequency.
