God of War Ragnarok

As a longtime God of War fan, this meets every expectation I have, while still feeling new. Gameplay is linear, and it works. Feels slightly different from the previous GOW, while also feeling familiar. Challenging boses and enemies that require good timing with dodging and parrying, where you cannot get away with just button mashing. You need to adapt to each enemy. Timing your attacks and defense is key to success. Visuals are amazing and the story is engaging. Overall a very enjoyable game

I have had a pre-order on God Of War: Ragnarök since I was aware of it's release. From the moment I stepped into the world of Santa Monica Studios' masterpiece, I have never felt more immersed and stunned in almost every aspect I could think of. The game pulls you into this Norse Mythological World, with 9 different realms for players to explore and take in all that is to offer. These lands are so dense and rich with activities to partake in, and not once have I yet had a dull moment where there was nothing I wanted to do, or armour and weapon upgrades I wished to acquire. The game itself, like the previous title (God Of War 2018, which was also an exceptional game) Is surprisingly accurate to traditional Norse Mythology, and even traversing between realms throughout this game never felt boring as Mimir, your trusty Aesir God of Knowledge would tell you traditional Norse tales, to which I still am curious to learn more about hours past the conversation. The character development over this series has come a long way, and I have grown an attachment to the main protagonists of the series (Kratos, and his son Atreus) through all the little details and lore pieces and conversing between one another. I highly suggest that If you have the money, and have been tossing up whether or not to pick up this title, go for it. I'm almost certain that any purchaser of God of War Ragnarök will fall in love with the game, and will struggle to put down the controller once they get into it.

I didn't think they could improve on the original game as I loved it so much, but Wow they really did, I've already completed the main story as I just couldn't stop playing it was such a beautiful and emotional journey, the character development was amazing. I can see myself playing for many hours just to find all the treasures.
