I totally recommend the use of Godox LC500R LED RGB Light Stick.It's helping a lot for indoor shoots, with its different colors and also for its white/yellow light.I tried it outdoor, it's helpful too, but not a lot. I think two of them can help a lot for outdoor shoots.Delivery was very fast and the quality is of the tool is very high.

The light itself works very well. The barn doors however are pretty flimsy and don’t work that well. Rather than cutting the light out they cut it but there is a distinct banding in there created by the ridges on the barn doors. I will be gluing some black cloth on, that should sort it out.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Super bright multi colored light for a fill with photos. The barn doors are super helpful as well. Battery life is not much with light all the way up but that's to be expected. The modes are fun as well. Comes with a nice case. No remote which I guess is the only downside.

I'm a bit of a lighting snob. Profoto, Bron, etc. I owed the Westcott Ice 2 and loved it on run and gun shoots but hated the filter needed for CTO and it stopped working with minimum use. The people at Westcott did a great job with the repair $140 later. The Godox LED stick is just as good with no need for a CTO filter and it has creative color options as well with RGB. I'm impressed with what you get for 1/2 the price of the ICE light 2. The battery life is 2 hours plus so it's not an issue having a built in battery. I recommend this for run and gun stills or video. Really great!
I'm an old pro with lots of lighting choices. I bought these for a specific purpose. I needed to do a bunch of run and gun interviews at a conference. They did an exceptional job for me. I had three of them on light stands and I just moved them around to the locations I wanted for the interviews. I utilized the available light with these in a standard: Key, Fill, Hair scenario. I did modify the barn doors with some silver reflector material. That makes it a bigger and brighter light.
I bought this mainly for some light painting for my architecture photography. Light is quite bright. Even brighter than I expected but more importantly light this produces has a quality to it which was main reason I bought this. Only down side is that it's on the heavier side so can be tricky to carry this hand held all day long..
The light is very bright and incredibly versatile, but it has a noticeable green cast when compared to my other Godox lights. I intended to use it as a hair light but it's far too heavy for a lightweight boom stand. I'll still find plenty of use for this tool but it isn't quite what I expected.I ended up buying a Nanlite Pavotube 6c to serve the purpose I originally bought the LC500R for. It's much lighter and easier to place in hard to get to places (and it's magnetic!). I'll likely buy the longer Pavotube to boom. You can't go wrong with either light but they serve different purposes for me.
Well-made light with many fun options for CRT and RGB lighting. I got it because it has barn doors and an internal battery, yet it can also run on AC power even if the battery has run out. It is also a noiseless because it has no fan, and has a handy remote control. Instructions are easy to understand. Because the light is so well-made, It is a little heavier than I expected, so I need to use it with the C-stand if I want it on a boom arm; I think it would be too heavy for a lighter weight stand with a boom arm.
I shoot UHD for lots of promotional and documentary style B2B video. Gradually making the transition from old-school (which I am!) ARRI tungsten lighting to LED lighting by IKAN and others. This Godox is a great addition to my light kit. It's great in quick set ups for back and rim lighting. Have even laid it on the floor and lit dark corners and dark wood areas - adding just enough light to see details but not have the set look too lit.
I use this light stick for event photography. It's great to be able to dial in the color temperature to complement ambient lighting, and the light is nicely distributed. An unexpected benefit is that when you light it up, people seem to be much more at ease than they are with the flash from a regular speedlight. The only disadvantage is that it takes one of my hands off the camera, which limits my ability to zoom on the fly, but it's easy to work around that. I set it up to mount on my Spider holster when not in use, so I can keep it out of the way when I don't need it.
