Outstanding. Just love the light they produce, and the weight of the head is incredibly easy to work with.Good, solid feel to the case. Bowens mount is strong, secure, and simple--not finicky with a large variety of Bowen mount modifiers.I'm using this for portrait photography in a smallish, 15?25-foot studios with 11-foot ceilings. Power is amazing with the Godox Fresnel FLS8, and the optional barndoors for the Fresnel work very nicely with good "cuts."Also works GREAT with the VSA-26 Spotlight attachment.I'm currently using only for stills, but, as for fan noise, it's so much quieter than my Buff strobes that it seems silent in comparison. From two yards away I can't really hear the fan at all.The Aputure Lightdome Mini II produces light very much like a ... MoreOutstanding. (If you are new to COB type LED lights, I can tell you that not all modifiers work well with them because the LED doesn't always project far enough into the modifier to spread. Watch out for deeper Bowens adapters that create a tunnel effect and cause the light to make more of a beam within the modifer. Adorama sells "low-profile" Bowens speedring inserts that work better if you are trying to make an old softbox work--but it can be trail and error.)All in all, an amazingly high-quality product at an entry level price. Personally, even just last year I wasn't seeing a power to price ratio I was ready to go with, but now things are getting much better.

Bought when item was on sale. Received before the New Year, which is very nice. everything was packed perfectly, thanks for that. as for the LED light, they are quite bright for their 200 watts, very light and compact. I didn't immediately manage to connect via bluetooth to the app, but then everything worked out and it's very convenient to control it from a smartphone.

Excellent value.
I am only reviewing this for still photography. I have one of those not so great flat panel lights with the LED beads that is useful as a fill light and little else. I wanted something stronger and of a more pro quality and all my research led me to this little light. For a kind of small light that doesn't weigh much this puts out an incredible amount of light, I mean eyeball searing, difficult even to look at when reflected light. It can only be used with AC power , comes with the cord and reflector and all you'll need except the stand to use it. It also does not come with a case. It can only be used with AC power , comes with the cord and reflector and all you'll need except the stand to use it. It also does not come with a case. Due to it's light weight and size I was able to use this on my average lightweight and cheap stand. Set-up is a breeze. It has a continuous knob to turn it from 100% power to no light at all, although you should realize there is only a small difference in light from say 100% to 50%. The reflector, with it's Bowen's mount , gives you the brightest , most concentrated , high contrast light, with a strong hotspot. I found this almost impossible to use straight out as it kept burning out the highlights. It can be used without the reflector which gives you a more even, wider coverage but not as bright light. This is really made for attachments to modify the light and shooting it into an umbrella works great. The Bowen's mount makes adding attachments a breeze. The only problem I had with it at all was attaching an umbrella. The reflector supplied does not have a cut out for the umbrella rod to slide through and even taking the reflector off, I could not get the rod through the hole on the light which has a spring inside. My understanding is umbrellas can have different rod widths and mine would not push that spring out of the way, but this can be solved by removing the rod cover on the light and removing that spring, than using some type of clip to hold the umbrella rod in place, once it's inserted. As far as shooting still photography with this, it does not have the power of a good flash unit, but you can see where the light is going to fall, it has great contrast and works best with camera hand-held at wider apertures and higher ISO. Shooting on a tripod , it's perfect. Just expect to buy some accessories to modify the light.
Been using these a month now, video and stills. Consistent, ergonomic, and producing gorgeous light.I have several of these, and they work great with important modifiers such as the Godox VSA-36 and the Nanlite Fresnel 20G. Being sturdy but not heavy at all, these can work on normal light stand quite well. The phone app is simple, straightforward, and reliable. The only negative I've found is the short DC-out cord could be inconvenient if the light needs to go up high and extended on a boom-arm. Otherwise, to just go straight up, the cord is adequate. To keep the powerpack securely strapped to light stands, I use TetherTools Strapmoores, which work great.Nice to have excellent light quality with adjustable intensity at this price. Highly recommended!
I used it for video and i love it , small and good qality
This light is high quality, color is accurate power is more than enough. It's light and sturdy.for this price it's definitely worth it.
