Its not often I work with videographers, and then not often its a fun experience, but one recently was and I picked up a new-for-me idea of using two of these lights for 1st dance to both assist in lighting the dancing Newlyweds, and their Guests, but also to aid with the common mirrorless problem of low-light focus (something most flashguns don't help with as they did with DSLRs)So I bought a couple of these wee beauties and was immediately impressed with their small size and build quality. I first used them on a new venue shoot for both portraits with my S-Bowens' fit holders and modifiers, and for some food photography too. They also remained completely cool and noise-free (noise not being a stills' issue, but its nice anyway)Yesterday, I again used them for 1st dance, the original idea for their purchase, where they shone (pun intended), but also for some outdoor night-time portraits. Here again the fact that they are a constant light source made for an easier & faster outdoor night-time shoot than my usual flash set-up as its so much easier to focus and refocus with zooming or moving position than flash isOverall then, and despite using them for only 3 shoots so far, I couldn't be happier with them - hence the 5* review :)

I am obsessed with this lightweight travel light. Lots of punch for wedding receptions and speeches videos during weddings. This guy travels East and sets up quick and allows for existing Sony batts to power it wirelessly and it lasts a long time on two batteries. Easy and quick to dial in the right kelvin temperature. Easy to angle it and attach to a light stand. I used on one event and have found my new companion for all my event video gigs.

Picked up this light to use as an extra light for video shoots. The ability of it to be so portable (and the functionality of the little light) led me to buy 2 more. Can't say anything about long term usage but am extremely happy with this purchase.
This light isn't as dainty as I had hoped, but that's my problem since I didn't examine the specs well enough. The real problem is dimming. It is advertised here and on the Godox website as dimming from 0%-100%, but the 1% setting is really closer to 25%.If the description had said Dimming 25%-100% I would not have bought it. As it stands, I am returning this light, as it has no use for me with the ability to dim properly.
