Godox X2T-F TTL Wireless Flash Trigger For Fujifilm

$75.59

(110 reviews)

The Godox X2 2.4 GHz TTL Wireless Flash Trigger is dedicated to Fujifilm's TTL system and operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency. The wireless flash trigger can fire a single flash or multiple dedicated flash units within 5 groups, 32 channels, and 99 ID settings to avoid interference from other nearby systems. For the added convenience, the integrated scan setting function can help you automatically locate an ID channel with the least interference. You can also operate the flash units within a wireless range up to 328'. All the settings are easily viewed on the trigger's large LCD display, which can be backlit along with the group and function buttons. A USB Type-C port is located on the side of the wireless trigger to download firmware updates as is a 3.5mm sync socket to connect non-TTL flashes or to fire cameras via a remote camera cord. The downloadable GodoxPhoto app is compatible with iPhone or Android smartphones or tablets while operating the triggers via Bluetooth. The app can control the same functions as the wireless trigger such as the flash mode, power output, the modeling light, high speed sync, and the audible beep of Godox flashes.

Bit awkward - but needed hotshoe mount

This arrangement works well, allowing the group buttons still to be pressed.Would be nice if the last group accessed stayed in edit mode until another group chosen - as having to press 'Set' is just another chance to move the camera when you're trying to keep it still for aligned shots. Would really prefer touch screen here. I'll often just change powers on flashes themselves to avoid touching camera, but of course the X2T won't display the correct powers now.The standby time options need a 5 minute option. 60 seconds is too short - because when it goes into standby, the next shot will just wake it up and not fire. Annoying having to delete this useless shots. I've reluctantly gone to ... MoreChose this over the XPro-C for the hotshoe mount, wanting to mount a Camranger. I can see Godox is just ok on the UX side of products (at least the X2T allows 1/3 power increments instead of the 0.1 stop increments the AD200 has).

Godox does not make solid reliable gear. They make cheap disposable gear. Their flash units break easy. They overheat and shut off. I dropped my previous transmitter 1 foot onto soft dirt and it stopped working. Do not buy these as your main workhorse system. But they make great backups in a pinch. They are excellent to backlight a portrait. They cost so little that when they do break, replacing them is easy on the pocket. They communicate from flash to flash and with a transmitter pretty well. This new X2 is simple to use and much easier to set up then the last generation. But like the flash, the transmitters are the same. They are not as durable as a Pocket Wizard. I would not recommend this if you plant to use it every weekend with repeated shooting. It will fail ... MoreGodox does not make solid reliable gear. They make cheap disposable gear. This remote finally made it possible to remotely fire my off camera flashes via second curtain sync. The next thing I really find cool is I'm able to set the power of each flash independently right from the remote. This make my portable setup quick and easy.Adjustments are easy to do and you know what power setting you have set for each group. It doesn't get easier than this!At this point I haven't used it enough to make any comment on changes or suggestions, just know that out of the box it's an easy piece of equipment to use.I would recommend anyone using Godox flash equipment that want's easy remote triggering capability ... MoreOne of the main reasons I purchased this remote is to trigger my 2 Godox TT 685 speedlights and have them fire with second curtain sync. I have a new purpose for my Canon 550EX Speedlites.
16 April 2022

The other reviews state the Godox trigger systems (X2T-C, X1R-C) work fine with their Canon 580EX Speedlites and now I want to say they work fine with the 550EX Speedlites as well. I never purchased the Canon trigger for my two 550EX Speedlites because I always used one flash on my 5D MkII as a master/slave set up. But now I wanted to mount my Speedlites, off camera, in separate diffusers (Godox products also). I was very pleased that right out of the box the Godox X2T-C and the two X1R-C units worked together and triggered my old 550EX Speedlites. This also provides radio trigger functionality that the 550EX does not have. I was able to stand in front of the flashes to take a shot, meaning the camera does not need line of sight of the 550EX units. Improved trigger for Godox flash
17 July 2022

I find this trigger to be a significant improvement over the X1 which I used for a few years. The group buttons on top, better LCD screen, and adjustment wheel are definitely worth the cost of replacing the X1. The one thing I find a little annoying is the locking mechanism. While it is a handy feature, it requires that you depress a recessed portion of the knob to release and rotate it to unlock it. The button is a little difficult to access, depress and rotate the knob. I have read where others claim that it will not unlock, and I suspect that some do not realize that the knob has to be depressed to allow it to rotate to unlock. It's not intuitive. I suppose it is mentioned somewhere in the instruction - but who reads instructions?

It works. It does everything that was promised.
7 July 2022

The tiny instructions in what seems to be Google-translated Chinese aside, the flash trigger does everything it claims to do. It triggers your flash. Newcomers to flash triggers (as I am) should be aware that you need to set the ID on the trigger and flash, as well as channel. This is not clear in the instructions and I'm grateful to some online videos and resources for this and for generally getting me started. But Godox makes great value equipment and if it took me some figuring out to get started, so what, I only do it once, it's a minor gripe.Great service again from B&H, shipping to the other side of the world. Thanks guys.

No TTL pass-thru on hot shoe!
31 December 2022

I purchased this TX, along with a Godox AD200, spefically because it has a pass-through hot-shoe that (should) allow me to use an on-camera speedlight while triggering off-camera lights. The Canon and Nikon versions appear to have TTL pass-through, as evidenced by the pad count. I assumed that the Sony version would be the same, but this is not the case.I can fire an on-camera flash connected to the top hot shoe, but only using manual exposure. Pretty disappointed; at this point, given other issues, I'm considering whether to return the entire lot.

Smart Trigger works Great
4 July 2022

I'm impressed how seamlessly the X2 works with my Canon 90D. Attaches securely to the hot shoe, and maintains a hot shoe for other accessories. The trigger is smart, and automatically shows the exposure including the flash. No surprises with overexposed pictures, just beautiful consistent results.Easy to set flash power. The thumb wheel initially felt a little cheap, but it works well. I like that the trigger is compact, and doesn't interfere with camera operations. No regrets on buying the X2.

The best flash trigger
4 July 2022

I bought this for my second camera, as I already have one for my first, so I could easily trigger flashes in different groups for different focal lengths, and these make it really easy. Only real downside I've noticed is that their compatibility with rechargeable (Eneloop) batteries is strange, as even when the batteries are fully charged, the indicator is never full. I know with some devices, you can specify what kind of battery you're using, but these do not. Kind of wish they did so I could maximize battery life, but it's not the end of the world. They work perfectly for what I need them for. The controls make it simple to make quick changes, and the screen tells me the perfect amount of information to tell me what's going on.

Won't stay in high-speed sync mode.
7 June 2021

The buttons could be labeled more intuitively. It's hard to remember which one adjusts the lights. The unit keeps falling out of high-speed sync with my Nikon D700. I have to fiddle with it and turn it and the camera on and off. I don't know what finally makes it work; however, it's a real pain when shooting. I shoot in manual mode and adjust the shutter and aperture to get different depths of field and exposures. All of a sudden it mysteriously stops syncing when I lower the shutter speed. Nikon D850 users will need to set their flash in CMD FP mode. Nikon does NOT include instructions in the owner's manual on how to use the D850 with studio lights and a transmitter.
