Okay, I’m going to tell you right now. This is by far the BEST hand lotion I have ever tried in my life. I was first given some by my friend when I was a senior in highschool and now I’m a senior in college, and I have used this every single year since the first time. You can see by the image that I pretty much finished the current one I have. It’s a great product. Now, I will say that if my hands are suppeerrr cracked, and I use this, it does hurt a bit, almost like it’s burning (not on my palm but the other side on my fingers). But I honestly just power through and keep using it for a few days and it fixes the dry hands and no longer hurts! For those with extra skin sensitivities or skin issues, I’m not 100% sure if this would be perfect for you, but it is worth the purchase to try it out and see. It’s not expensive either and I get it at Target. I love the scent, it smells very light and clean. It is also not greasy whatsoever and absorbs very easily. I basically just say what it says on the hand cream lol! But it’s true!! Definitely worth the purchase

Bring back Ultimate PLEASE

WHAT HAPPENED? Ultimate was thick and absorbed fantastically. It immediately made my skin feel better, stronger and healthier. I’ve been using Ultimate for as long as I can remember and refused to buy anything else.The new “blue banner” version is thinner and just sits on top of my skin until it’s absorbed. The “formula” may not have changed but it definitely has more water and a lower viscosity. Unfortunately, this makes it feel like any other generic squirt bottle lotion. It’s definitely not a cream. It feels like you just took a lotion and put it in a tube. There’s no longer a differentiator to make me stay with Gold Bond! I have two tubes of the new blue banner version sitting in my drawer that I won’t use until every last drop of my Ultimate is gone! Even ... MoreWHAT HAPPENED? Disappointed in New Formula

I swear by ONLY the Healing version of this product and have used it for years. I'm super disappointed... as I track down EVERY LAST REMAINING CONTAINER of the original. Once the label changed... and the ULTIMATE was removed, this product ceased to be ULTIMATELY good! Even the ingredient label shifted - where petrolatum shows up earlier in the list and it NO LONGER says that it penetrates 10 surface layers deep! This product is sticky and does not absorb as fast as the original.My boyfriend had horribly dry, cracking hands because of sanitizers and washing his hands in hot water most of the time... I used the ORIGINAL on his hands for 3 nights in a row before bed and his hands are so soft now. Dried out my hands and caused peeling on my palms

I have normal skin that needs a little moisture after cleaning the house. This actually caused my hands to more dry. I kept having to reapply it and I couldn't figure out why. I stopped using it and my hands were more moist without anything else on them after a few days. After a week of using this my hands also started peeling a lot, but the skin couldn't be scrubbed off. Strange. I also experienced this with some other Gold Bond lotions in the house. I thought the brand was great on the rest of my body but it may have been drying me out without me realizing it. I use plain jojoba oil now.I gave this specific hand lotion two stars because it does dry quickly and leave no greasy feeling like it advertises. It also does not irritate me other than the dryness.

Horrid new formula!

I have been an advocate of gold bond ultimate healing hand cream for years, but you have changed the formula. I know this because I got a bottle of the new stuff and I have a bottle of the old stuff and the ingredients are different. The old formula was wonderful, non-greasy and non-slippery. The new formula is slippery, and things slide out of my hands. It is so bad that sellers are selling the new formula with the old picture on it so they can sell it. Unless you change it back, I and thousands of other people who have given such reviews on your new formula are going to have to look for a new lotion and a new company. I don’t know why you even attempted to mess with such a success, but what you got was a mess. Will never buy this again. Loved the old version

I had been using the Ultimate version of this for YEARS. I loved everything about it. The consistency, how well it absorbed (and how quickly!), and most of all, how much it helped my hands. I could slather it on at night before bed, and by morning my hands would be unbelievably better. I'm talking a night and day difference after just one use before bed. I suffer from dry, cracked and bleeding hands constantly from hand washing, and the old version of this was just what my hands needed. I always made sure we had a tube at our house; it really became a staple product in our home.I have now purchased 2 tubes of the new formula. One word to describe it: horrible. The new formula does nothing. It's greasy and leaves that uncomfortable film on your hands that just won't absorb. So much so that I usually end up taking a paper towel to "degrease" my palms and underside of my fingers after using it.I'm extremely disappointed that they changed the formula on this product. New design and formula royally sucks

Glad I’m not the only one thinking the quality of the lotion has drastically gone down since the new design. The new formula, as others have stated, is now runny (literally plopped on my lap like bird poop when I tried squeezing some onto my hand) and leaves my hands feeling sticky (and even dry?? It’s so weird) rather than moisturized. In the photo, you can see just how runny the new formula (left) is, that as I’m typing this review with the two moisturizers on, the new formula is literally about fall off my hand, while the old formula (right) maintains its shape and stays on my hand now matter how much motion I put my hand through. This new formula is worse than generic hotel lotion. New look "Same Product"

Before the "Not change to the formula" I bought a tube of this every time I went to the store for other random shopping, because as a food service worker with already dry skin that is extremely sensitive, I couldn't go more than two days without putting it on at the end of the day before my hands showed signs of being too dry. Then, one night I put it on just like I normally would, however this time it gave me a migraine. As someone who is sensitive to smells I am most bothered by this "not change to the formula". At first I thought someone swapped out the contents of the bottles for the body lotion because that lotion leads to head aches as well. It is so hard to find a good hand cream that actually gets the job done. Not just that, but give you the ability to use your hands again within a minute of applying it to you hands.As a food service worker I was so glad to have a hand cream that kept my hands from cracking that was also a decent price. I work two fast food jobs and don't know what I am going to do when I make it through the stash of the old bottles that I still have. I sure wish I had bought up more when they were still on shelves.Please go back to the original formula, it seems that there are many hands out in the world that will be thankyou for doing so.

I have praised Gold Bond hand cream for years and years. I have recommended this hand cream countless times because simply stated, it’s the best. It’s weightless, ultra moisturizing, and very long last-lasting. Well. Did they think we wouldn’t notice the change in formula? Once was a thick and luxurious hand cream (that miraculously soaked into your skin so beautifully) is now just a standard thin and watery lotion that is just the same as all the rest on the market. I am SO SAD that Gold Bond has decided to “fix” something that wasn’t broken in the first place. PLEASE PLEASE go back to the original formula!
