Have had this for my 3rd summer now n im in Central Queensland where its pretty muggy most of the year & it hasn't let me down at all.Make sure to clean filer on a weekly basis.The unit will let you know when its time to clean.Cool customer :)

Its been over 40 degrees in my city and this aircon did a good job. My room is small though. Its was a bit hassle to install the pipe on the window bcs didnt fit properly, but I add some foam around to fill the gaps. The air is strong and cold.My room was 20 degrees in the morning.

Excellent product, couldn't recommend this enough. It costs the same to run a fan! Cools down a room from 37 degrees right down to 18degress. If you're looking for something to cool your bedroom down this is far the best product ever! My power bill is the same when I ran two pedestal fans. Highly recommended.

Nicely designed unit, easy to move, easy to drain, easy to put together (the venting hose and window insert). This model claimed to be a bit quieter than other models and thankfully it really is; that attribute was of special importance to us. It cools nicely and we like it.
An excellent product and well worth the money. Cools a normal medium-sized bedroom extremely efficiently and would work in a larger room as well. Very pleased with it. Glad I paid a little extra instead of getting the cheaper versions from Bunnings etc. I've been running it for several weeks now and haven't even needed to empty the drip tray. This is my first portable air conditioner and I'm really pleased with it. If anyone wants dimensions it's 30cmx30cm, and stands 70cm tall. Outlet hose is easy to attach and as aesthetic as it can be for a tube going out the window. Good stuff all round.
We bought this air conditioner for our master bedroom. The bedroom is west facing so in summer the room can get very hot. This air conditioner cools the room in minutes. We did realise that when buying this portable air conditioner it would be alot noiser than our reverse cycle wall installed air conditioner in the living room. However, we wanted portablility and economy of not having to pay for reverse cycle wall installation, We are very happy with the purchase even though it is obviously noiser than the reverse cycle.

Applies to this 2.0kW system & many others.This model, like most portable air conditioners, doesn't come with a 2nd vent. While they do vent hot air to outside, it first takes that air from your cool room. No vent to use outside air to come into the condenser (hot side). Taking air from the room to vent outside immediately sucks air from hot places around your house (doors, windows, ceiling vents, floor, cracks). When outside is warmer than inside (especially >5C warmer) it becomes counter productive, room feels warmer. The cool air coming from the unit is cool but doesn't make up for additional heat (leaks, radiant, drawn in). Bottom vent is air intake to hotside.
This is a great little aircon. Perfect for a small bedroom and really easy to put in and out of the window. The remote only has a small range and it is a little noisy, however, it starts cooling down very quickly and the room stays cooler for longer. I would definitely buy this again.
Purchased on Sunday, failed with error code E3 by Monday. Harvey Norman were excellent in handling the problem and promptly issued a resolution.As for the performance before it failed - underwhelming and lacking, remarkably noisy for such a small unit and performed as cheaply as the price suggests. I can’t fault Harvey Norman for their excellent handling of the issue - but I do not in any remote sense recommend the product.
