To make the heater to oscillate user need to switch on the black button located in the base (as shown in the product picture) of the heater. When the heater auto off when it reached the selected temperature, oscillation does not stop, it keep oscillating with rubbing sound. So it still using the power to rotate it. So we have to get up and go to the heater to switch off it. This is a bad engineering design decision.On our other fan heaters we bought(Home, Kmart and Bunnings) during past years all oscillating function is in the selection knob at the top of the heater and stops rotating automatically.

I got two of these fan heaters, hoping they work at least for the winter months, but I was wrong! One stopped working in 2 weeks and the other one only works as a fan ,no heat !! I basically put my money in a bin .
Heats well and quickly. Lightweight and perfect for when you bath your little one or warm up a small room. The only annoyance is that you need to disconnect it fully in order to turn it off completely.
This is a great heater for a small space. Does the job and is very compact. Good quality.
Heats a large bedroom and ensuite to toasty warm after 1/2 an hour easily. Two settings means it can keep a room nice and warm in conjunction with the thermostat on top. It has a good flow of air compared to most small heaters out there. Great little machine. Had one for a year now and no problems.
I use this heater in the bathroom and it warms the room very quickly. Great value for money.

I'm pretty happy with the Goldair 2000W Upright Fan Heater... it's compact and heats up my room fairly quickly... helps me save on the gas bill as I don't need to heat up the whole house when I'm only using one room...
