I tried these skates as an entry level, if you are planning to do the same please do not buy these skates. The wheels are too soft and constantly grippy and slow, after 2 skates the front wheel was significantly worn down and if you think to just buy new wheels you will be looking at $100-200. The boot lacks support in the front and you will find you foot sliding around in there and that it will trip you up as your trying to skate. My recommendation is to spend the extra money on something with harder wheel and a more solid boot.

After only one month of use ( every 2nd or 3rd day, so not even daily use) the brake pad has worn down completely. They were bought for a beginner who maybe used the brakes more than a regular skater would. Even though this is a Rebel product, they do not have any replacement brake pads and said the skates could not be returned as they have been used. (If a replacement brake had been available through Rebel, I would not even have asked about returning them as, so far that's the only complaint with them).Had to go to a real skate shop to get a different brake put on them.Final verdict - DO NOT BUY AS NO REPLACEMENT BRAKE AVAILABLE FROM REBEL.

Mostly comfortable to wear and use. I would like a bit more cushioning and some arch support inside the boot. The laces get caught in the velcro that crosses over the foot section and the velcro doesn't adjust as tightly as the clip across the top of the boot. I would have given 5 stars if both of these issues were factored into the design.

Bought these for my husband who was a real skater boy in the 90s. He is really pleased with them. He says they are comfy and work really well.I was very pleased with Rebel’s speedy service and delivery. Would definitely recommend Rebel for online shopping and hubby recommends these skates for keeping up with his kids on scooters.
Ineffective back break. I think it's possibly the lack of angle. Difficult to turn in. Tried my friend's rollerblades and they were so much easier! Going to remove the stopper as it's rubbish and put slightly larger wheels in the centre. Hopefully this helps.
Great comfort and balance quick to put on and take off and light enough to minimise fatigue. I'm 44 years old and last time I skated was 22 years ago. I bought my son a pair for Xmas and promised him I would learn with him so I got a pair too. Within 20mins we were going great. Good for beginner and experienced. Well recommended for a bit of family fun. For Kids and adults to love. Paired with safety pads they offer a safer experience for the not so experienced.
Great product for beginners. Miss 13 was learning on my old skates, but really needed a newer pair. These were reasonably priced and seem to be functioning as well as they should. They have a comfortable yet supportive feel. The wheels are quiet and sturdy. Main drawback is there is no way to replace the break/stopper.
These skates are really good i would give them 5 stars but nothing is perfect.I got these skates so me and my partner can get back into skating and well its worked they are great quality and very nice looking, cant wait to keep using them.I rated this product a 4 star out of 5 just because in my eyes nothing should be 5/5 as there can be some improvements on some things but i haven’t had the time to find out what that one thing is with the product just yet.
Great value for money. The boots are fairly comfortable and don't leave you with sore feet after skating on a rough surface for a long while. The toe is quite round with the longest point being in the centre rather than towards the big toe, so might not be best for someone with a longer big toe and better for a wider foot. There isn't a whole lot of give with the laces, so again they are suited more to a wider foot, and they get caught in the velcro a little. In general though, the skates are pretty comfortable, sturdy, and are good value for money for someone who hasn't skated in many years. Decent beginner skates with a nice colour palette.
I'm generally happy with the purchase for the price as an entry-level skates but my wheels are worn down completely after riding them for a week (5x 1hour sessions so 5 hours of riding along Brisbane river cycling tracks - so pretty good surface). The price of new wheels surprised me, you're looking at at least $100 spend for set of 8 wheels so maybe it's worth considering investing a bit more for skates with better wheels instead... I don't think 5h lifetime for a new product is acceptable.
