We normally buy this product except that we prefer them to be in syrup instead of juice. The main reason we buy this product is because it is made in Australia. This product comes in two sizes of cans, this one and a smaller one. They also come in pieces instead of slices. We prefer the slices as they give use more flexibility in ways we can use them. However, we found that being in juice tends to make them a bit sour which is not what we want out of them unless we are making sweet and sour dishes. This particular can we picked up appears a bit lacking in pineapple flavour which let me to suspect that the pineapples may not have been picked at the top of their ripeness. I think we'll stick with the syrup variety.

Fake-away Friday is a regular occurrence in our house and we often make pizza as I bill make the Jamie Oliver pizza dough with semolina (yum) and freeze in portions. My go to is always ham, mushroom, capsicum, cheese and pineapple with a little swirl of bbq sauce on top. My hubby and son argue over who Gets to drink the juice from the tin! Golden circle pineapple is a regular addition to other meals in our house as well including chicken and haloumi tacos with pineapple salsa and sweet and sour pork/chicken with rice. Really versatile and great that it is available year round.

I've purchased these pineapple slices many times in the past. I can always reply that they are sweet, tasty and good. Some canned fruit can be mushy but pineapple slices always have that soft crunch. I usually keep a spare can in the cupboard in case its needed for either pizza making or to chop up and added to ice cream or when making a cake. It's convenient and versatile to have canned pineapples always on hand.

I enjoyed the golden circle pineapple. It was juicy, but not too sweet. We then grilled them and ate them with Christmas Ham. It was a great combination. The texture of the pineapple did not fall apart. We enjoyed the grilled version as well as fresh.

The product is consistent in its quality and taste. This makes the product reliable. The overall taste was excellent. Not too sweet or sour. An Australian product which is always a bonus.

It's summer time and there is nothing that says summer more than Golden Circle Pineapple Slices. They are filled with all the freshness you would find in a whole pineapple. Perfectly sliced and ready to eat. I eat mine cold from the fridge. Golden Circle is my favorite canned fruit brand.

I Mashed Banana, cut up pineapple to small pieces added eggs, yoghurt, a little Golden Syrup for sweetener, Vanilla, Oat flour, Baking Powder, Sunflower Seeds, Walnuts, Chia Seeds with other secret ingredients and put in baking dish and cooked for an hour. I liked the flavour of the product. We normally buy cheaper brands of tinned pineapple & to be really honest, I didn't really notice any difference between them. The golden circle pineapple, like the cheaper brands is really tasty, versatile & handy to have in the cupboard. I ate some straight from the can, I had some on a toasted sandwich & some on a pizza. It tasted as I expected, I was not disappointed!

The can has a ring pull top which was very handy to open. I found it interesting the juice can be either pear or pineapple juice and I wonder if that is why it’s not as sweet as the brand I usually buy. The pineapple is slightly hard which was actually good because I used it as a topping for pizza and it didn’t mush up. It was the right consistency for that. I used the entire cam for two pizzas and it was quite nice.

I always buy Golden Circke tinned pineapple. It's an essential in my pantry. We use it on home made pizza each week or eat it on its own as a snack. Never dissapointed with Golden Circke pineapple. It's juicy, tasty, full of sweet flavouR and versatile. I like it as there are no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. This brand reminds me of my childhood and summer desserts.
