Fake-away Friday is a regular occurrence in our house and we often make pizza as I bill make the Jamie Oliver pizza dough with semolina (yum) and freeze in portions. My go to is always ham, mushroom, capsicum, cheese and pineapple with a little swirl of bbq sauce on top. My hubby and son argue over who Gets to drink the juice from the tin! Golden circle pineapple is a regular addition to other meals in our house as well including chicken and haloumi tacos with pineapple salsa and sweet and sour pork/chicken with rice. Really versatile and great that it is available year round.

I've purchased these pineapple slices many times in the past. I can always reply that they are sweet, tasty and good. Some canned fruit can be mushy but pineapple slices always have that soft crunch. I usually keep a spare can in the cupboard in case its needed for either pizza making or to chop up and added to ice cream or when making a cake. It's convenient and versatile to have canned pineapples always on hand.

My partner does not eat Pineapple at all so I made the Bread without telling what was in it. She loved it and had a second bit!This is a recipe for those who want less sugar and high fibre in their diet.

It had the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Having it in syrup did make the pineapple softer than what I prefer, however it did make the perfect addition to a ham and cheese pizza. I prefer pineapple in rings, so that was great, but due to the softness it fell apart too quickly for me. I ate it as it was, so I could get the texture and flavour. I then added to a home made pizza which tasted amazing. In terms of storage, because I didn't use the whole lot, I had to repackage it into a sealable container so not to waste it. That's the only issue I have with tinned goods. Overall it's pineapple and I love pineapple.

Easy to open with ring pull top. The juice was full to the top keeping the pineapple slices covered in its natural juices. All slices were same size in diameter and width. I poured the juice Into a cup and the grandkids loved the taste. I grilled the pineapple ring's on the BBQ and they were delicious. Great tasting. The Centre core was all removed and no outer skin left on. Extremely happy with the pineapple slices.

I always buy Golden Circke tinned pineapple. It's an essential in my pantry. We use it on home made pizza each week or eat it on its own as a snack. Never dissapointed with Golden Circke pineapple. It's juicy, tasty, full of sweet flavouR and versatile. I like it as there are no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. This brand reminds me of my childhood and summer desserts.

The slices were extra juicy and sweet without being to sugary. The syrup I used to make a jelly with and it added extra flavour. I really enjoy the taste of the pineapple in both sweet and savoury meals. There were 6 slices so only needed four for dessert so used the left over two the following night on a homemade pizza. I air fryed the 4 slices and added some vanilla ice cream for a refreshing and easy to prepare dessert. Certainly a hit with the family and tasty too.

I like the colourful packaging, it attracts you to buy it I reckon. The pull top ring making it efficient for the time poor. Juicy, fresh and full of flavour! Soft texture that just slides down the throat leaving a sweet fruity flavour for hours. I liked using it to complement our dinner dishes by making the perfect Hawaiian chicken schnitzel & a pineapple sauce/gravy for my pork chops. When you only have to grab a can because the works all done it makes life a little easier. I would recommend to anyone who loves to eat pineapple!

Golden Circle® Australian Pineapple Slices in Syrup is a delicious & light snack. It can be eaten by itself or whipped up into a delicious creation. I liked the softness of the pinapple. The sweetness was good also (possibly a little less sugar for me). The packaging was attractive & distinct & easy to spot in the supermarket. I used this in a homeade pizza with cheese & tomato - tasted amazing. I also ate it plain for breakfast. Would definitely purchase this as a substitute for fresh pineapple.
