I was hesitant to purchase a pair of Golden Goose sneakers initially, but now I’m so glad I did. They required virtually no breaking in period right from my first wear, and they’re already conforming to the shape of my feet. I can tell the quality of the leather is stellar, and the silver styling is classic and versatile; dressed up or casual. If you’re on the fence, don’t be! Buy these, you won’t regret it. 👍🏼

I’d tried these shoes on 4 years ago and decided to buy a pair because of the distressed look and the fact they don’t look like orthopedic shoes for 90 year old cripples. By ‘platform, they mean a block of something that doesn’t bend until just before the ball of the foot. Until you’ve worn them you won’t understand. You have to walk flat footed like a robot. The 80’s ‘puff’ around the ankles is too high up and the result looks like your ankles are actually cankles. I’m betting that the designers are placing bets based on how many reviewers say they’re comfortable. They aren’t not comfortable. They don’t pinch, plenty of room in the toe, you just have to walk without using the flex in your arch. These are going back as soon as I can get to the mall

I wanted to love these shoes. I purchased the 36 and 37s and neither fit correctly. I think they are the best looking sneakers on the market---nothing compares. But, they were so uncomfortable on my feet. I purchased the p448s instead and they fit much better. I'm 105 lbs and a true 6.5 US size and the super-stars just didn't work out, maybe because I am in between sizes and have more volume across the top of my foot. Disappointed.

The first time i tried it its kinda narrow..i nearly exchange it to size38..good thing i remember to adjust the laces:))lol i am size US7 women and size 37 fits me well. If you have wide feet consider sizing up. FYI, my size in gucci sneakers is size36. Overall my shopping experience with NM is excellent including the customer service. Hope i can get discount for my next purchases!:))

I love the white with grey suede star and metallic back it's really cute and upderstated but very stylish and perfect profile for wearing with just about everything. I bought 40 EU. I am used to wearing European sizes so I think it is very true to size. It's a little stiff at first but made from Italian leather which is some of the finest leather available. There is a minor break-in period of a day or two as all of my other shoes have been but I only buy Italian leather and keep my shoes for a very long time so quality is important to me. I wanted a pair of superstars but not crazy prints or colors. I prefer more of a minimalist look. These fit the bill. They may be stiff when new but quickly conform to your foot. I sized up as recommended and laces can adjust for width. I like that they aren’t too distressed and I can change laces if I want to add color.
After much research I purchased this sneaker. I am usually a 7.5 in all tennis & workout shoes so as advised I went with the size 38 as this does not come in 1/2 sizes. It is cushiony but the back of the shoes is sliding off and does not make for a practical or comfortable shoe for walking. After spending so much money, I did not expect this. It does look stylish with my jeans and casual wear but disappointed that the shoe is slipping off at the heal.

So, they give just a little bit of a height. Not too high, not flat. There is no feeling of falling backwards. 2) The scuff design is brilliant. I don’t get it… why do people like these shoes???? I’ve been looking at these for a couple of years, & finally bought them and I am so disappointed! They are cute in the box but not on my foot and are incredibly uncomfortable. The leather was so stiff my foot felt like it would be cut in half, the toe box was so shallow my heel and top of foot was slipping out of the shoe despite being snuggly laced down. In terms of how they looked on my foot-they are very “flat” in their profile so they made my feet look like duck bills. As for size; I tried both the 37 and the 38 (I’m usually a size US 7-7.5) and the 37 felt short and tight, the 38 felt sloppy and made the heel slipping issue so bad that I knew I couldn’t wear them. All in all these shoes were a complete FAIL for me.
I have 4 pairs of Golden Goose sneakers and this is my 5th pair. I LOVE them. They are very stylish, cool looking BUT… only some of them are comfortable. This particular style and this pair is very comfortable!!! I have tried more than a dozen of GG in different colors and combinations of just leather and leather/suede. Some of them are very stif and never soften up. Some of them have very poorly made seams inside which rubs your feet badly and make it impossible to wear. This color and this style happen to be GREAT!
