I had been eyeballing these for a while, but the price made me keep rethinking these. I finally took the plunge, and boy, I am so happy I did. These are the most comfortable designer sneakers I have ever purchased. They feel like you are walking on a cloud. I was able to walk around for 5 hours straight as soon as I took these out the box…no breaking in required. Get these!! You will be happy you did.

I was looking for a pair of super white sneaks and honestly was not interested in another pair of GG but after scouring every brand, these kept coming up as the best choice. I didn’t realize that I was buying vegan leather at the time, but they are the softest pair of GG I have tried so far! So, so fresh and clean. Like soft plushy clouds. Low profile. Fit slightly loose so do not size up. I am a 6.5 and the 36 fit with room to spare.

When I opened the box, I thought they looked stiff and that I’d end up returning them. Fingers crossed, I wore them around the house and they were better than expected. They are such a well made, beautiful sneaker, I really wanted to keep them. Price and all! I finally wore them outside, expecting to remove them after a while. To my surprise, I kept them on all day and never once considered removing them. They are not only comfortable but they make any outfit a bit more chic!

Love that they are all leather! The fit is great. Super cute pale yellow accent. But quality is in the details at this price point and it’s lacking here. The Golden Goose letters on the heels have started to come off after just a couple months of wearing them once or twice a week. And the leather star on the right shoe is curling on 2 points. I’ve paid less for other brands and gotten more. Disappointing!
I love these sneakers! I like a cleaner more polished-looking sneaker so the pure star was more appealing to me than the super stars. I have always gotten veja sneaks in the past, which I like, but these pure stars are a lot more comfortable than my Veja Campos. I am always a 6.5 or 7 in shoes (always a 37) and got the 7/37 in these. Fit perfectly. The top is a little stiff at first but has loosened up quickly.
These shoes are perfect for anyone who loves the golden goose minimalist look, but isn’t really interested in having the dirt or scuffs. I know I was really late the GGDB party, but I love these shoes. This is my second pair and they are so comfortable, I was immediately able to wear them around the house all day. Some other luxury brand leather sneakers take a long time to break in and don't have a cushioned heel. These are great. They support your foot and provide comfort. The leather is super soft and the shoes are not heavy at all. Any shoe that you can comfortably wear all day at Disney is a winner in my book. 10/10 in my book.
I normally wear size 5 shoes in sneakers in brand like Sketcher, Nike, or Saucony. So, I got size 35. Way too big. There is about 1 inch of space between my big toe and the front of the shoe. So, I exchanged them for a size 34, it should fit perfectly. But, size 34 is not smaller than size 35 at all. There is still 1 inch of space between my big toe and the front of the shoe.Another issue of these shoes is if you do not want to wear socks, then, the sole is stuck to your feet. The results is that it is very hard to take off the shoes. Too much work, and the soles came out with my feet. I wear most of my sneakers sockless, and never had any issues.So, it looks like that Golden Goose is not my cup of tea. I really tried.
These shoes are ridiculously comfortable. The breaking in period wasn’t so fun, but that’s typical for leather shoes. Mostly heel blisters for me but that stopped after a few wears. They are SUPER high quality, though. And I think they look pretty classic and timeless. They’re obviously an unnecessary splurge, but if you can afford a luxury sneaker, then I’d get these. They only offer full sizes, but I wear anywhere from a 9 to a 9.5 and the 39 fits perfectly now that they’re broken in.
These are very cute. However, I overlooked the fact that they are the new GG sustainable Vega leather which is awesome. Super low carbon footprint and made well. I took a star off because vegan should be a little cheaper and it should’ve been more obvious that they aren’t leather. I think this might be a good option if water resistant. I was worried about condor and breathability so I wasn’t ready to take the risk. I haven’t seen them reviewed anywhere and didn’t want to be the first. Pure stars are very comfortable and I ended up buying a leather pair.
