These sneakers are truly the best, most comfortable, most amazing sneakers I have ever put on my feet! I hesitated for a long time debating between these and the Gucci Aces before choosing the classic white of the GGDB- I wear a size 9 in almost all American sized shoes and I find these TTS- for reference I wear a 9 in Nike, Frye, Converse, New Balance, an 8 in Ugg or Hunter boots, I took a 10.5 (40.5) in my Gucci Princetown loafers. I have owned other pairs of GGDB sneakers before and was excited to try these out, as they are a different look from their other shoes. I wore them less than 10 times and the pink parts began to tear away from the rest of the shoe on both shoes. The tongues of the sneakers also started to turn blue, I guess from time wearing jeans with them? I was really disappointed in these, and luckily I was able to return them and they were damanged out. The Nordstrom clerk who processed my return told me that others had had the same problem with the Purestars, too. They look very nice at first, but I would recommend sticking with GGDB’s other tried and true (and intentionally distressed) sneakers, or go for a pair of Stan Smiths.

Nice, simple white sneakers with a splash of sparkle. Runs small compared to athletic shoes like Nike, so size up one. Comfortable fit. Need to break at home for a while before wearing all day out. Fully leather inside and out. I would purchase again.

Purchased less than 3 mo ago and the right star has fallen off already. The “OO” on the left shoe peeled completely off by me rubbing my fingers over it. Luckily there’s still a tiny bit of glue on there so they’re there, for now. I’ve read other reviews on this particular GG shoe, this happens w/ the logo. Super disappointed as I have never had this happen with my other GG
I love these sneakers! I like a cleaner more polished-looking sneaker so the pure star was more appealing to me than the super stars. I have always gotten veja sneaks in the past, which I like, but these pure stars are a lot more comfortable than my Veja Campos. I am always a 6.5 or 7 in shoes (always a 37) and got the 7/37 in these. Fit perfectly. The top is a little stiff at first but has loosened up quickly.
Purchased these for my daughter for Christmas. Six months later both shoes were ripping/splitting along the ankle where the pink leather ends and the white begins. I thought it was completely bizarre until I read reviews from other people complaining of the same thing! Between my daughter and myself we have several pairs of GG. This has never happened with any of our other pairs. Thankfully the manger at Nordstrom’s approved the return. If I were Nordstrom I would be irate with GG!! This color was made specifically for Nordstrom. I don’t think GG made them with the same quality and craftsmanship that they usually do!!
So I adore my leopard fun GG sneakers but these are so amazing for a clean white shoe and who doesn’t love a white sneaker for a certain look? They are also so comfortable and the little pop of silver glitter just gives these shoes that special Golden Goose look! I love that GG added this pure line to their collection! Just make sure that your hands are clean! At the store, I saw foundation on them so someone who may have tried makeup touched them and they were stained. I am a typical 36.5 and I purchased the size 36.
This was my first Golden Goose purchase. I’m normally a size 9 but I read the reviews stating these ran small. I ordered the 40 which is supposed to be a 10. They were too small and very stiff. I’m returning and reordering the 41 to compare. I will say the style and look of the sneaker is very nice. I’m hoping the larger size will be exactly what I need. The jury is still out!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with the PURESTAR, but I am pleased beyond belief. They have a nice insole and are very comfortable. They fit the foot perfectly. Just for reference, I am a size 6 and ordered the 6...PERFECT! A little different from the original GG, but a great sneaker whether working out or just out and about. I just ordered the PURESTART with the silver on the back. I should mention that these with the PINK are a NORDSTROM EXCLUSIVE color, so get yours as these will sell out fast.

I wore them out today for the first time for about 6 hours without any discomfort and had two people ask me where I got them. I love that they give me a bit of extra height (approx 1.5 inches) and pretty much go with anything.
