Great feeling grips

Bought some used clubs two years ago that are now 10 years old. Good set of Callaway's. Played with a friend who had regripped his clubs with the CP2 Jumbo grips so I hit his driver once. Really liked the larger grip size in my hands. My fingers are long and I can never find gloves (#10s) that fit well - and grips always felt small in my hands. This jumbo grip finally fills up my hand and allows for a softer hold on the club. Being new they give me excellent friction to hold the club. The larger size takes a bit of the wrist out of my swing. The grip doesn't solve any sins in my swing - but I am more comfortable and gripping the club better. An added benefit is my hands don't tire near the end of the round now.

So I really gotta say that I love the way these grips look, and I really like the texture of the grips as well. There is very minimal taper and for some that may be a pro more than anything. But as someone who has lived in Texas their whole life I gotta say that these grips DO NOT- handle sweat well. I already have pretty sweaty hands, and here in Texas it can get very humid. And on more than one occasion I've had the club slip upwards in my back swing. Keep in mind I have a pretty firm grip so the fact that this happens is kind of absurd. Not to mention that I feel like I have to strangle the club when it gets wet/sweaty. Which (and keep in mind I'm a 20 handicap) I feel like prevents me from releasing the club correctly so I end up pulling.Overall the grips are ... MoreSo I really gotta say that I love the way these grips look, and I really like the texture of the grips as well. I am now considering switching to different grips.

I bought these grips to reduce joint pains on my hands from practice. I'm glove size M but practicing between 150-250 shots daily after 2 months, started to be be tough on my hand joints. I was originaly using standard grip size, so I decided to fit 3 clubs with mid-size grips and another 3 with jumbo. Ultimately, fitted all my clubs with jumbo, for the last month. My accuracy has improved, meaning the club does not rotate in the palm of my hands and the grip squeeze requires less preassure. After 3 weeks of daily practice, joint pain has been reduced over 80%. Using this grip on Driver, woods, hybrid, irons and wedges. The additional weight of the jumbo grips can be felt in the longer irons, but not enough to discourage me from performing this lab test. I would buy this again and again!
6 April 2023

I had been playing the CP2Pro midsize grips but I needed larger grips due to arthritis beginning in my hands. Tried the JumboMax grips and they were just too large and my swing speed dropped significantly. I had lost about 1 full club length in distance. I switched back to the tour pride CP2 wrap Jumbo's with 2 wraps and I could not be happier! Control is just as good but with my swing speed back to normal.

Love my CP2 Wraps
5 February 2023

Replaced the stock grips on my new Sim2 irons. I wanted something softer on the hands. Getting older and fingers can hurt after a day on the course. I haven't been disappointed at all.The CP2 wraps are a very soft grip. And they seem to have great traction in wet or dry weather, with no slip even when hands perspire. I've only played with them a couple times but I can say I prefer them to the stock Taylor Made grips. They are quite soft and maybe I lost a little bit of control (or even feel). But it's very minimal, and they feel so good in the hand I have gained confidence with them. I'm glad I made the switch. If you like soft grips, I think these are the best in market. Might be the best grips ever
7 March 2022

These came with some used irons I purchased a few months ago. Felt pretty good but I didn't like the blue and never played with wrap-style grips before so I got a CP2 Pro red grip for my driver. Ended up liking the CP2 wrap more and decided to upsize to midsize grips for my fairway woods. It was a revelation. They are now on all my clubs except my putter.Precision is up, consistency is up, speed is up, also able to power through the rough. Less joint issues. I've even gone back to steel-shafted wedges without issues. I'm sure I could go back to steel irons but the tech in graphite is too good.I only wish there was a mostly black colorway. The white rings, lines and logo are really distracting at address. And the blue is just about my least favorite shade of ... MoreThese came with some used irons I purchased a few months ago. Can we at least get two?

Need more colors

These grips are excellent in both the wrap and the pro. Feel responsive and very confidence inspiring through a soft and tacky feel. LOVE the reduced taper style more of this please. Durability grade A. Golf Grips are like tires folks - they're you're only connection so don't overlook them. ONLY complaint is the colors. N E E D Muted - (dark) gray, black/white, all black, BLACK/GOLD. PLEASE

Soft yet stable and very durable
6 July 2022

I’ve used the Tour Wrap for years with its soft yet stable feel. With the new CP2 there is still the soft feel but stability and control is even improved. They are very durable when compared to other comfort grips and have a great feel and feedback relating to contact. I play without a glove except for high humidity conditions and the tack remains great through their life. I highly recommend this grip.

The ball broke after just a couple of days
16 August 2022

It's a nice tool but needs a more durable design. The ball literally flew off its attachment and busted after just a couple of days of use. Even before that, the ball was getting dented after just a few uses. If they can tweak the design to where the ball is sturdier and stays attached to the "string," this would be a very worthwhile product for practing your swing in the backyard. As for now, it was $30 down the drain.

These just don't work for me
31 March 2023

I want to like these, they are soft, almost squishy and feel like they'd be really comfortable. However, when I tried them, twice!, I just put them on again not remembering I'd already tried them two years earlier. I was reminded of how when on the club they just don't feel right. Strangely, actually hurt my hands and forearms, they cause some stress in my tendons and grip. Fortunately I didn't have to throw away the whole set only three this time. Also I tried the mid size this time, the pain was worse and really hurt the tendons going up my forearms. I did read that griping something too large can cause tendon pain and damage. Went back to standard Tour Velvet and everything was fine, no pain. I wear a M/L glove.
