Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum

I think this brand is a good brand for the price. I purchased it for $6 on Amazon. For the price, it is a good product. However, I would not recommend this for mature dry skin. I only use it on my T-Zone. During my first few days of using it, I did experience skin purging. I was using it all over my face but it was simply too drying for my cheeks. It is a medium consistency serum and I find that I don't have to use a lot of it on my forehead, chin and where I have discoloration under my eyes. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I have noticed significant reduction in discoloration, fine lines and brightness on the areas that I do use the product. I like the packaging. For me, I will not be repurchasing this particular product from them because I feel that niacinamide is just too drying for my skin. For those with sensitivity to smell, you will have no worries with this product. In my opinion, this product is more suited for oil your skin types that have a tendency to break out. If you fall into that category, I would definitely give this product a try because it did clear up my hormonal acne and smooth out the bumps left behind.

Been using Good Molecules Niacinamide Serum for a while, doesnt feel sticky when applied as compared to "The Ordinary". The bigger volume definitely makes it more worthwhile to get if you use everyday, 2x a day. My acne-prone skin has cleared up tremendously and the post-acne scars have also lightened.

I did not expect this to be this GOOD

I bought this product in a big ulta order and honestly I forgot that I even bought it until it came. It wasn't like I researched it heavily before I bought it I just looked up best niacinamide serums and picked the one that came up on ulta. The first time I put this on, I think my jaw dropped. It was so silky, smooth, and thin, but penetrating. I don't think I really understood what a good serum was before this? that was pretty cool, I noticed my skin look bouncier and more glossy after just the first to use. this morning, though, I discovered its best use in my opinion other than its long term effects. BUY THIS. (I don't think I've ever raved like this in a review before but this product. wow.)note: The first time I put this on I got a little nervous after about 2 minutes because my skin started tingling and usually for me that means an allergic reaction. HOWEVER. My skin never reacted at all, and the internet says a lot of niacinamide serums tingle faintly. if it tingles, don't get nervous right away, give it a second to see if it flares up, and if it's burning, wipe it off and don't use it again. :)

I'm 17 with combination skin. This product has saved my life I've been using it for a year now and you can definitely tell a difference in my skin texture and healthiness. The main points I struggle with acne are my forehead and chin and sometimes on my cheeks. The reason I gave four stars is because during that time of month it doesn't help keep down the acne as much as I'd like but it definitely helps control it. As for the beginning when using it you HAVE to expect your skin to breakout even a little bit because it's a new product your skin needs to get used to. I've used this product through all the seasons and it has never failed me!! My good friend recommended this serum to me a while ago and its easily become one of my FAVORITE products ever. I recommend it to everyone!!! I have always had decent skin but coming into my 20s I had some health issues that caused my skin to become dull and textured. I started using GM's Niacinamide serum and it alleviated almost ALL the texture on my skin. My forehead and cheeks, my pores that were enlarged near my nose shrunk and my skin retained so much more moisture. My skincare routine consists of mostly GM products now. Their discoloration toner, niacinamide serum, their discoloration serum, their AHA/BHA acid serum, their retinol, yerba mate eye cream... LOVE their products. Thank you for saving my skin!! Niacinamide and my full routine

As someone who suffers from hormonal/pcos acne flare ups during a certain time each month, here is my honest review. Also, this routine works for me, so this is an entirely personal opinion. I first use the GM acne foaming cleanser, pat my face dry and apply the Niacinamide toner. After that I apply the Niacinamide serum patting it gently on my skin. Once it absorbs fully, I apply a light moisturizer to seal it all in. On days I have bad acne flare ups, I also apply a tiny bit of the BHA clarifying gel on the affected areas. I have been following this routine for over a month and it has really helped calm my skin down. Please note this is not an overnight treatment, I do this once every night before sleeping which helps to control my breakouts. Hope this helps!

At first impressions, I really loved it because it had no tacky feeling and completely absorbed into my skin and with my skin being very oily this was a perfect match. However after a couple weeks I noticed that I had more whiteheads than usual and even started getting the inflamed type of acne which I usually don't get. I was also using panoxyl 10% with this so I thought this effect was a result of purging do to the benzoyl peroxide. However after being discouraged by no results (about one and half months later) I stopped using this serum and just used the panoxyl with a moisterizer and surprisingly my acne became less irritated. Elon, eat your heart out. For the past seven years, I have had excruciatingly oily, shiny skin with huge pores. This serum minimizes pores and reduces acne EXACTLY as it says. With some acne-reducing products, my skin gets worse - not this one. And now, at the end of my skincare routine - I CAN USE MOISTURIZER. And not oil-free moisturizer - REGULAR MOISTURIZER. I never thought I would be able to. Good Molecules makes hopes and dreams come true. You get a lot of six bucks and I love the gender-neutral packaging. Truly the best.

having sensitive skin I always have to be mindful of high concentration formulas. I do not break out from this product, but my chin area gets SUPER dry if I over-do the frequency of usage. I do want to say this is really wonderful, and does what it's supposed to do! I'm currently healing acne scars. BUT at a 10% concentrate it is a little stronger than I like. To combat this, I like to do a few things to assist my skin.1. use a hydrating cleanser first2. apply a barrier support serum (I'm looking at you Cocokind 😘)3. apply a moisturizer LIGHTLY to my clean skin4. apply the Niacinamide serum5. follow up with a second LIGHT application of moisturizer (sandwich method I learned from using Retinol)I have noticed using this 2x/week is best for sensitive skin. more harm than good

i have NEVER had an issue with acne or breaking out. days after starting this product, i started breaking out on my chin, jaw, and forehead. i was hoping it would go away soon but even a week later it was getting a lot worse so i decided to stop using this product. now that i quit using it, i've noticed my skin BURNS. my face hurts when i wash it (same way and same product i always use, have never had problems with) and post moisturizer. my skin has never seriously burned like this. i have used the same face wash and moisturizer for a year and this has never happened. my face shouldn't be red, burnt, and hot to the touch after stopping a product. i am very unhappy with this serum and i do not recommend.
