Searching online doesn’t gave me any answers yet. I saw many Google rep said the company still working to resolve the problem.I already use this Google nest Wi-Fi pro over one year. So I guess I have enough experience and frustration to give my opinion for this device.The connection is easy, the appearance is stylish.The performance is okay if you have connection under 500mbps.But when you are expecting fast speed, sorry, this one will make you crazy and want to change another device within a week.Even now, the speed issue is not yet resolve and new problems comes every now and then.I don’t think I will recommend to other until they resolve all these issue.

House is 3 levels and approx 2300 sqft and approx 7800sqft lot. I have the main router and 1 access point on the main level and one access point in the basement. During the mesh tests, it would switch between great connection and weak connection and suggested I move the basement access point for a better mesh experience. The signal was so strong that even when the phone was taken to the basement, the phone was still connected to the 6ghz band. Usually the phone only stayed on 6ghz when staying close to the router but the 4th access point really changed the game for our house. Although I do feel it maybe overkill with 4 access points, I can’t complain about the speed and network strength! Only downside about the Google Nest Pro 6e router is that if you disable wifi on a singular device without creating a family network, you can’t unpause it. I literally had to create a family network through the Google home app on my cellular data, add all the devices to a family network and then pause all devices and unpause all devices to get the one device back online. Other than that, definitely recommend the Google Nest Wifi Pro 6e router!

Being able to connect an app to the routers instead of using a cable to a computer made this very easy. The only hitch was that the app blocks the iphone light from turning on and the app takes a photo of a QR code on the base of each router to set them up. I surprised Google overlooked this but otherwise, no issues setting it up.I used the exact same SSID & passcode and I think every 'smart' device reconnected automatically.Although setup was really easy, I am not sure my network is locked down all that well after following the wizard. I haven't tweaked the settings yet but some of the features I saw offered some good ideas that I wouldn't have considered a router to do.If looks are a concern, these look sleek enough to display out in the open. They have a white light under the plastic surface that makes a dot on the front so people will know they are electonics of some sort, but routers don't come to mind. Even the plugs look sleek.I have a 1500 sq foot 3 BR house. I was a little concerned that the lack of antennas might not really show improvement with the mesh. But they seem to be providing good coverage across the entire house and my office speeds have proven about 20% quicker than my wifi 6 router. I do have one of the mesh routers in the office.
In short: DO NOT BUY IT. Bought this mesh system in July and after 4 months, I started to experience constant high latency, and random packet loss. Sometimes the ping can be as high as 2000ms (when connecting directly through the ethernet from modem, I get consistent <8ms latency, but if I connect with the router, even directly through ethernet, I got random super high latency). I was not able to even finish a sentence in video calls. Very disappointed with this router. It’s 2023 and a $200+ router is not even as reliable as a $20 cheap one 15 years ago. I took the unit to Best Buy and they refused to give refund or replacement and redirected to Google customer service. Then I talked at least 10 hours back and forth with Google customer support to go through trouble ... MoreIn short: DO NOT BUY IT.
