Google Pixel Watch - Champagne Gold Case/Hazel Active Band - Bluetooth/Wi-Fi

I really like this watch, it connects quickly to my Google Pixel phone and connects very easily to my Google security camera everything integrates very seamlessly. Makes me able to control almost everything in my house with just my watch. The watch has a very long battery life and lasts about two days even though I wear it constantly. The silicone strap is very comfortable, and the color is also very delicate and elegant. The watch face is designed and has a very sturdy glass, I have not found a single scratch on it even though I have used it for more than 2 years and I do not have a screen protector. A First Attempt

I am one of the people that have been waiting for this watch for years and, I have not been disappointed. Compared to earlier WearOS watches the UX is much more refined and the experience much faster - I don't think I have noticed any real stutters yet. All the advertised features also work well, the most impressive being the real-time heart rate monitoring. Furthermore this is the first smartwatch I have actually liked the design of and felt good wearing, the only other one that came close is the now discontinued moto360. However, being a first-generation product it does lack some polish. For instance it has a hand washing timer but it does not automatically start and sleep tracking but you have to manually put it into 'sleep mode'. The battery life is perhaps the poorest aspect of the watch, but I just put it on charge when I have a shower every day and this is enough to keep it going most of the time. The final piece of the puzzle is the Fitbit integration, and as a long-time Google Fit user, I am not sure how I feel about it. Fitbit is definitely a more complete ecosystem than Google Fit and overall I have come to really enjoy it. But, it has no integration with Google Fit, so I have essentially had to give up the last few years of data that Google holds, because my Google device is using a different (but still Google owned) fitness service? This confusion is amplified by the fact that my Google Pixel phone is integrated more with Google Fit. Here I kind of wished that they just picked one or the other, or at least made the two talk to one another.

Decent 1st Gen attempt

A decent 1st try at a smart watch however this should be expected as google is a little bit late to the smart watch game compared to it's rivals. Hardware design is excellent with the curved edges feeling very classy. Significant Bezels are present on the device however when using the majority of watch faces it blends into the black so it is not really a factor.The obvious shortcoming here is the device only comes in the 41mm screen size so is really only appropriate for females or those with really skinny wrists. However with a lot of pixel devices it does learn behaviour so I would hope this doe improve as it gets used to my regular routines. I would often have to recharge some time during the day which isn't generally an issue as I have my charger at my work station but could be an issue for those that can't recharge during the day. My typical day would include a run/cycle in the morning and then just muted notifications during my work day from 8 till 6. If I don't recharge the devices is sitting at 10 - 15% by the end of my work day.Overall an impressive first go and would recommend for anyone that has an android phone and has a skinny wrist. I would be excited for the second generation offering a larger screen size maybe 45-46mm even if it does cost a bit more.

It is the nicest-looking watch compared with the competitive brands available in the market. You get a watch, a watch strap, and a charger with a magnetic connection in the box. The charger is Type-C; you should have either Type-C to USB converter for the USB plug or a Type-C compatible charger. This watch will be top on the smartwatch market if google improves/add – more sizes (currently only one size 41mm), supporting a 5G large display to read the text and iPhone connectivity. Overall, I am very happy with the watch and recommend it to android users.

I received my Google Pixel watch with Fitbit and was excited to see what it could do. I chose the black watch, which is quite smart and looks good on the wrist. The screen is very clear, 40 mm in diameter and continues over the edge of the watch. The screen works well in high sun conditions. The rubber band works well, is secure and there are two band straps for different wrist sizes (my son says he will use the smaller band thank you!). Setup was straight forward, except that my watch would not sync with Google Wallet or Find my Device. I believe this is due to having a Google Workspace account (using your own url or business account) rather than a standard Gmail account. I only seem to get less than 12 hours of usage, after turning on Battery Saver, which turns off Always-on-screen and Tilt-to-wake. I use the watch for the occasional call that I need to take when away from my phone, using Fitbit and the timer app and scrolling through messages. I think this may be caused by the fact that the watch checks my pulse / heart rate every five seconds and I haven't been able to work out how to turn this feature off or change the frequency. The watch is provided with a magnetic charging cable that the watch is placed on to charge and a USB-C to connect to a power source. The issue is that this USB-C connector cannot plug into a standard USB power plug, as the later does not have a USB-C connector. The only way I can charge the phone is by plugging into my laptop. I am investigating whether there is a USB to USB-C converter. I switched from another sports/smart watch to the Google Pixel Watch to be able to access more apps and talk on the phone, which is a very useful feature. I haven’t explored all the apps, as there are many apps on the Play Store to select from. Overall, the watch works well, looks good, but the battery life and charging are issues which cause a little frustration.

First off, my needs for this watch were simple - Receive notifications, vibration alarm (so not to wake my wife), and fitness tracking. Those things this watch does exceptionally well. A surprising plus, is the voice call quality is very very good. I've been skiing and mountain biking while taking a call and the other person said it sounded great.Deeper use of the watch is a pretty rough experience. The "look" to wake the watch function is very hit or miss and sometimes I have to tap the watch, push the crown or do a rain dance just for the screen to come on - I've even taken it off to put on the charger thinking it was dead only to realize it had plenty of battery. Responding to texts is near impossible as the keyboard is just too small. Then comes to my true disappointment - I got this watch in a package promo with the Earbuds Pro (the "good" ones), and the Pixel 7 phone. About 90 days after this deal, the earbuds case would not take a USB charge, only wireless. Now, my watch charger won't charge the watch - I've power tested the charger and it has died. I came to the Google products after being a decade long customer of Samsung and finally having to deal with their customer service when trying to purchase a new phone. So far, the buds and the watch have had problems and now I'm questioning if Google has strong enough products that I can rely on. $200 buds and $500ish watch that I honestly can't recommend.

I'm very happy with this smartwatch. I previously had the Fitbit Versa 3 and also briefly wore a Samsung, and the Pixel Watch is better than both. The watch itself is really nice, smaller and with a nicer form factor than the current Samsung models. The dial/button makes it immediately better than the Fitbit Versa 3 whose invisible "button" was extremely inconsistent. The screen is nice and durable; I've bumped it lightly on a few things and have yet to nick or scratch it. The setup and customization feels intuitive and easy, and the various tiles and features feel much more useful than the Samsung. Having worn Fitbits for a long time, I like that this uses the Fitbit architecture for workout and activity tracking; if Google can just add a few features that were in the Fitbit watches (marking laps during workouts in particular), it will really bring the Pixel Watch in line with the best activity trackers out there.Yes, the battery life is pretty bad, it does need daily charging which requires you to be diligent in finding time to take it off, especially if you wear it for sleep tracking. But I consider that a pretty minor complaint, as I tend to charge it during the evening hours when I know I'll be sitting still for a while.

Pretty Sick

Just upgraded from a FitBit Versa 2 that completely shut down on me after 3 years. I did some smart watch research and found the Google Pixel 2 watch going for the price of only $20 more than a new FitBit charge. After reading so many reviews of how FitBits have died on people or stopped working suddenly, I thought if I'm going to invest ny money in a smartwatch, it's going to be a cool one! I hope we never have to find out if that works. To use the sleep info and other exercise and health information, you have to purchase Fit Bit Premium, which is another $120+ per year, plus there are additional charges added to your internet bill, so this is a very costly item.Aside from that, it tracks your steps and sleep quality, which I guess is nice. The dial is large enough to read, and it has a handy nighttime mode. Very Small "Large" Watch Band

Today, I purchased a Pixel Watch. I spent hours setting it up and updating it. When I was finally finished, the "large" band in the box was too small. I did purchase it at Best Buy and provided the receipt to customer support. I was advised that I would have to purchase a different band. Never in my life have I purchased a watch where the band was too small. I have many watches and this has never happened before. For 500.00 the band should fit. If there is something on the box about the band size or length, the writing much too small to read. My wrists are not overly large either. I checked several of my other watches and your watch has the smallest watch band of all the watches I own.
