GoPro - Suction Cup Mount

The gopro mount is pricey but provides a durable safe attachment. i have mounted it outside of my car, on windows and the car dashboard. Its made of a thick plastic that feels sturdy and comes with 3 attachments to either extend the mount or let you mount at a right angle. my only complaint is that it did not come with instructions. so if you do not press the middle button hard enough before securing the lever, the suction strength is weak causing it to fall off. this in turn fell in my car and cracked my protective gopro screen. not the suction cups fault. it was mine for not pushing the middle button. no matter, just added another protective screen. that's what its there for.All in all a good solid mount for your gopro! and after that first "whoops" moment, it ... MoreThe gopro mount is pricey but provides a durable safe attachment. i have mounted it outside of my car, on windows and the car dashboard. I only buy authentic gopro accessories like this suction cup mount. Better quality plastic than off brands. The locks fit better together when using all genuine gopro mounts and hardware.

The great thing about the GoPro ecosystem is being able to use a wide variety of third party products with your camera. The suction cup is one of the handful of things I'm happy to buy first party though, as it's very critical to the safety of my camera. The price for this is certainly worth more than the headache of losing your camera in the water or having it break if it falls off of a car, or even, the headache of having to redo a shot on the inside of something where the camera would otherwise be safe. Plus, so long as you take care of it, you should be able to carry it forward to your newer cameras as well.
