Gordon's London Dry Gin 350ml

(1,249 reviews)

Award-winning Gordon’s London Dry Gin is the world’s No.1 international gin. The Gordon’s distillery was established in 1769 by Alexander Gordon as he set out on a mission to produce a gloriously tasting gin worthy of carrying his family name. Gordon believed that success lay in the elegant combination of pure distilled grain spirit and rich botanicals. To this day Gordon's is distilled to this same exacting standard and the product is triple distilled to guarantee the purity of the gin. The exact blend of botanicals remains a closely guarded secret with a combination of hand picked wild juniper berries, coriander, angelica and liquorice. The attention to detail results in a distinctive flavour that mixes elegantly in long drinks and cocktails. To savour the ideal taste for yourself, mix a Gordon’s and tonic and garnish with lime. It's the long mixed drink, ideal any time, but especially good when enjoyed with friends.

Gordon's smells like it's supposed to, which is to say nine parts juniper, one part lemon, and a half-measure of coriander. I swear I smelled anise somewhere in there too. When it comes down to the drinking, Gordon's is a classic, straightforward London dry gin. It tastes like juniper. Cool, I like juniper. But what really impresses me about Gordon's is that it defies conventional bottom shelf wisdom, which holds that the most successful bargain boozes are humble and inoffensive renditions of their betters. Not in this case; Gordon's London Dry gin is aggressive, even at a lowly 80 proof (the good stuff runs around 95).

This is a pretty good gin that’s very refreshing and not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough. Great to mix with soda/tonic water and a wedge of lime. Excellent value for the price! Have brought it out a few times at parties, and it’s always been a hit.

If you like gin and tonic, this is what you need, in my opinion. I dont really like ice in my drink, so this canned version with tonic water is awesome! I found it at a really good price for this taste. The only secret is, keep it in the freezer before consuming 💚

Gordon's Gin excellent value for money. It's a good gin and I find the new design simple and attractive with the same content as always. Ideal for cocktails, with tonic or just like that without anything 🤗

Best Gin Value. Period.

I'm always so surprised to see Gordon's Gin, one of the most historic and quintessential London Dry Gins, not to mention one of the world's most popular, available for such an incredibly low price. It was a gin called for by James Bond in the novels, and if it's good enough for James Bond, it should be good enough for us. If anyone ever asks for a good low-cost gin, look no further. No need to buy any questionable brands. Just like other quintessential London Drys such as Tanqueray or Beefeater, Gordon's is juniper-forward with nice supporting flavors, including coriander and citrus. In many countries, Gordon's is simply seen as one of the best classic gins, not so much as a value gin, like it is in the USA. But in the USA, we have one of the best classic gins and the best value gin, all in one. My favorite classic gin is Beefeater, which is still a pretty good value. I like Tanqueray, but I still prefer Beefeater. It's also nice that Beefeater tends to be a little less expensive than Tanqueray. But of the three, Gordon's would actually be my second choice, ahead of Tanqueray. I think the flavor of Gordon's is at least as good as Tanquray, and the extreme value also can't be ignored. In the end, both Tanqueray and Gordon's are produced by Diageo, and you can never go wrong with any of the three brands. It just seems that Tanqueray has more of an upscale image, at least in the USA, especially compared to Gordon's. But it's ultimately the liquid that counts most, first and foremost. In the US, the main benefit of Tanqueray is that it's bottled at 47.3% ABV, while Gordon's is at the standard 40% ABV. The higher alcohol stands up better to dilution in cocktails, but Gordon's proof is still perfectly fine. In a number of countries, gins and spirits are bottled at 37.5% ABV, so it could be worse. I think one of the reasons that Gordon's is an even better value in the USA than Tanqueray or Beefeater is that Gordon's is actually produced in Canada for the US market, while Beefeater and Tanqueray are imported from the UK. But it definitely doesn't seem to affect the quality of Gordon's at all. Bottom line, whether you're looking for the best value gin or just a great gin in general, don't hesitate to pick up a bottle of Gordon's. It's worth way more than it's price, and you will not be disappointed.

Always consistent. Not fancy but just a basic gin which sometimes is all you want. Doesn't promise to be anything it isnt.

Blind Taste tests say it all. Time after time this gin amazes me with its results in double blind taste tests. You can also do your research to see that this gin is far and away the best bang for your buck but my personnel opinion is that it is one of the best. I love the citrus, juniper and spice marriage. Don't get me wrong, if I need a big strong gin I go with Bluewater Halcyon or Captive Big but this is the best low and even middle shelf gin I've tasted and I proudly serve it in my martini. It regularly beats even some top shelf gins.
