An outstanding product - I highly recommend it!Great adhesion... It bound my project parts well. I used 1x6 and 2x4 lumber.Great applicator... I am able to apply with ease. It helps injection into tight crevasses.Fast drying... It dried faster than advertised, allowing me to continue without dead time. The glue dries with a reasonable color, and stains well after drying.I have a lot left over from this project and intend to use it on other wood projects coming up!

A very good wood glue

Gorilla glue wood glue works very well on gluing anything with wood grain. After gluing, we typically clamp the surfaces together and leave it for 24 hours. It might take less time, but that’s just how long we wait. We’ve never tried it on anything other than wood, but all wood types we have used have worked great. There is a light glue fragrance. When cleaning up, we wait until it dries a little. Before it does, it simply smears everywhere, but when it is slightly dry, it cleans up very nicely. Gorilla glue has been our go-to glue for wood projects for years.

I've used "original" Gorilla Glue for several years, but this is the first time I've used the wood glue. I needed a simple glue to complete the assembly of MDF laser-cut drawer units. First thing I liked was the nozzle - it directs the glue where you want and is easily cleaned as well as providing an effective seal for storing. The glue is the right consistency for the job I was doing - it penetrated the joints slightly but not enough to run right through. It dries to a transparent finish which is shiny. I didn't need to paint the finished drawers so I don't know how it would take different types of paint. The finished drawers feltl very strong and rigid after 6 hours drying time.

Glue works great, bottle is frustrating
6 November 2023

Love the glue itself, it's strong and works fantastically for holding things together. The bottle is a different story. I have never managed to actually squeeze glue out of the top; it's just totally jammed. I have to open the lid and use a paintbrush to apply glue, so it's not convenient, I wish they had a better top on this, because it does not function as a squeeze bottle for me at all--maybe I got a defective one, I don't know.

Gorilla Did the Job!
29 March 2024

My Grand accidently threw a small ball onto a wooden scroll sign. Two pieces of the scroll work broke right off. I've used other types of Gorilla glue in the past with good results so I expected good results again. It was a difficult job, using toothpicks to apply the glue. The directions say to use a clamp for 20 min. I had to hold it for 20 min. BUT it worked!! After 24 hrs I was able to rehang the sign! So now I've got a big bottle of Gorilla wood glue maybe it should come in a smaller size?

Gorilla Wood Glue is a strong, quick-setting, and water-resistant adhesive that provides a durable bond and blends well with wood for both indoor and outdoor projects.
16 September 2024

Gorilla Wood Glue is an excellent choice for woodworking projects. It provides a strong, durable bond and dries to a natural wood color, making it ideal for furniture repairs, crafts, or carpentry. The glue sets quickly, but allows enough time for adjustments. It's also water-resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects. Overall, it's a reliable and easy-to-use product that delivers professional-grade results.

It’s Glue - You really need a title??
2 October 2024

It’s glue. It bonds 2 things together. It helps me complete my project. What more? Seriously? Our culture wants stickers & approvals for everything. We are so broken on so many levels. Many know what I really mean. Find God and seek His approval alone. I fail and am so broken but the Holy Spirit is my “glue” that helps put myself back together with the Lord. May we all find our “glue” that helps us connect with God and fellow humans. God bless you all.

Strong Bond for Wood Projects and Repairs
10 August 2024

Wood glue is a staple in any workshop, so having a bottle of it on stand-by is a no-brainer. The glue was the perfect consistency: not too watery where it's too difficult to control, but not so thick that you're getting cramps just trying to get the glue out of the bottle. The nozzle opening was wide enough to get a thin ribbon of glue exactly where you want it. Clean-up was also easy: a damp rag to wipe up any excess and soap and water for rinsing hands of any glue residue. Of course, it depends on your specific project and the amount of glue used, but I found the 20-30 "clamp time" claim to be pretty accurate. Time will tell how well the bond holds up on my projects over the long haul, but my first impression is that it is strong — something I expected considering ... MoreWood glue is a staple in any workshop, so having a bottle of it on stand-by is a no-brainer. Very strong glue
23 April 2024

This is a very strong glue, much stronger than the wood itself. As with the most of building projects, preparation is a key. If surfaces match perfectly, your joint will be invisible (see photo).Water soluble when in liquid form, therefore it is important, that the seller does not freeze its warehouses. This product from Toolstation arrived in perfect condition. Thank you.
