Wow , they exceeded expectations, easy to put together,great instructions and screw driver included wow. They are a joy to use and I can switch on and off via app on phone, and Also timers too so they are multi flexible as are the colour range. They look minimalist but deliver a mighty punch with light. Super happy with mine I actually bought 5 in the end. Highly recommended

As I said in the title, awesome floor lamps with the ability to double as a smart light with various colors. Very easy to assemble. I'm still getting used to a lot of the features but when you have it connected to either Alexa or Google Home, you have the ability to shout out the color that you want it to change to, it can also do the basic like incandescent, cloudy daylight, blue ice, warm white etc etc. Or use the app. The white looking orange color in one of my images is incandescence and not 'daylight or white'. I haven't had any issues for almost one week. In the middle of switching all my lights over to Govee.The app has a ton of features let it almost overwhelming but eventually you'll get used to it. I don't want to get too critical on the app functions because on November they're apparently updating it to make it more seamless but from my personal experience, you have to set everything individually to the color that you want or the effect that you want.Although you can shout out to change all lights to a specific color, some combination of lights need to be manually dialed in because they behave different. For example the color orange of the floor lamp, and the smart light from the same company will all change to orange but the back LED strip I have to manually change it to orange for some reason it tries to go to a warm color that's mostly white but I don't want to talk about another product, just giving you an example of what to expect if you have various combinations from the same company. I'm sure that's a firmware update fix in the future considering it can do orange. Only found the issue with that color. Nothing else.The app has a lot of functions for right now you cannot change the speed of the built in various color combinations/mode for example holiday, dance etc but you can create your own combination and save it which allows you to alter the speed. Hopefully in the future they allow you to change the speed of the built in modes that they have because they're very creative but move to fast.It also has a very interesting brightness mode: One of them called relative brightness that's always at 50% and a separate dialer for brightness itself. so you can increase the brightness even more or leave it at 50% relative brightness and it gives off a glowy type of brightness, while keeping the brightness level at 100.I'm pretty happy with the item. I'm going to purchase a third one they put on the opposite end of the room but I like the fact that the light is illuminating the wall because it matches perfectly for anybody that has a backlit LED TV since it's not aimed inside the room. I'm running 1000 down, 1000 up fiber and I have a mesh system over my house. User experience may vary but if you have a mesh system, pretty stable connection, or just replacing your previous smart lights, these should work the same, if not better. They seem to have similar settings as a lot of other smartlights for example: setting a timer for when it shuts itself off, effects, music modes etc etc. If you use Google Home with it you can say the command: shut off all lights or by name: in X amount of minutes and it will do it without using the app.For right now there doesn't seem to be a way to change two of the same products to a mode, for example the floor lamp to change into the same multi color effect mode.. although I did read in the community blog that they're updating it in the future you have to enter the app to switch it to the same mode as the 2nd lamp (for example). I haven't messed around too much with the app other than the basic functions because I'm waiting for the update, rather than learning the old system and I will come back and update the review later. However all the voice commands and everything works like normal and at very stable!Just a word of advice if you get more than one floor lamp if you name them both floor lamp both of them will change to the color of your choice and listen to the command because they're named the same. If you want individual control you have to use the app or simply named them separate. For example I named mine Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 you can name your own lamp 1 or lamp 2 but I try not to go with a generic name because sometimes it trips up the voice commands but that's an easy way to change one lamp to one color and then the second one to another. (with voice). If they are both present in the same room, you can shut them all off by saying: 'shut off living room lights'. Instead of both by name.The main difference with this one and the 40 to $30 more expensive lira version is the look, as well 50...

Initially was hesitant as there are other lamps of similar functions which have had bad reviews. But I'm VERY HAPPY i took the opportunity and purchased a govee lamp. I have tv lights which made me consider the lamp. You may think it's a tad expensive, but if you get a discount I'd recommend it definitely. Its brilliant. Great quality and excellent functions and endless variety of colours and lighting styles. A must buy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This product really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it turned out to be.It is extremely well engineered, and although you must assemble it yourself, this was simple enough to do, BUT I do strongly recommend you read the instructions first.To get the best from it you need to down the App but again this wasn’t difficult.I love it!
The product is really good so far. Good build, easy to assemble, easy to use app.However, it has one major flaw. The app is designed to be used by one account holder only. This doesn't reflect life. The majority of people live in houses, occupy space with more than one person. Both or all might need to control the light, that isn't a big leap is it, so it is a major oversight not to allow multi access to the lamp. Oh well.
I’m pleased with our lamp. We needed something compact for a narrow area and this just fits perfectly in the space, with the added bonus of being a smart lamp. I only use the app to choose colour/temperature and it’s very easy, it also allows to create a library of favorite colours to use again.

Stylish lamp with a good range of colours, good range on the brightnesses settings and some good pre defined themes.This is the third lamp as well as other wall lights we have purchased. Only reason the outside lights have not been purchased is the wall plug is too bulky to fit in the outside sockets or would be adding to the Govee lighting sets.Great products and good service although a little expensive compared to some others.
I love them. I first bought one but that wasn't enough. There is so much you can do with them. The colour possibilities are endless. I love all the different scenes and the music scene has over 8 different settings. Awesome for parties. Mostly I like to have mine on diy scene and you can choose your own colours and speed they change. I cannot fault them at all just need more shapes of govee colour colour changing lamps in my life. Can voice control colour on and off and brightness via alexa. I already have the aurora lamp and the striplights, hope govee continues to add more and more lights to their range.
I’m only using this as a white room lamp. The bells and whistles are surplus to my requirements: I don't need it to change colour or flash in time to the music. But it does that room lamp job nicely. it's a well built, easy(ish) to assemble thin metal column. It won’t give enough light to work or read, but gives a nice, soft ambient light when bounced off a wall, while taking up a minimum of space, which is what I need it for.I’ve deducted a star because the app is a bit complicated: it took me a while to figure out how to get it BACK to white, once I had tried out some of the other options.
really happy with smart floor lamp. effortless use of app and smart control (alexa). and modes are really great addition like music modes.the white/yellow colours are a bit questionable - but app allows you to control quite well - so can work around it.
