Mixed feedback on this. I think it makes it easier to get the peel and pizza in and out of the oven but my wife isn't sold on that. I'll let her make a couple of pizzas without it on the unit and watch her change her mind!
The quality of the mantle is excellent. However we find the need for it to be questionable. So far we simply haven't had to use it for our pizzas. I can see if you need to let a pizza sit for 30 more seconds on one side or something but you can manage that with the peel.Nice build, questionable uitlity.
Love this pizza oven and had loads of parties last year. Bought the mantel but a bit early in the year to use it yet. Very good products and quick delivery.
great product, decent quality. good price and much cheaper than aftermarket versions floating around online.next frontier for gozney is to work out how to integrate this into their standard pack / storage.
This mantel is well built, is effortless to attach and increases the ovens access/surface area, making the baking/turning process much more efficient. A must have in my opinion.
