I got this for a song, in Fanatical's sale and was well worth it. Given it's age, I couldn't recommend buying at full price, particularly as GTA VI could be out any time soon, so something to bear in mind.As I have said previously, if you can get a key for Rockstar version and not Steam, then you will have less issues loading the game. One notable mention is Win 10 and it's antivirus, which will see many games as a false positive. You will need to create exceptions in Defender, as it blocks off writing and treats this and many titles as a threat to your system...and run both launcher and game as Administrator. This should make your gaming a bit less stressful, because I was pulling my hair out, getting it running. The more you know!!

This game has to be one of the most ahead of time games possible, the amount of detail from the big things to little things is absolutely incredible… from the shadows, the water splashing when you walk on it, the scenery. Even characters doing funny little motions waiting around to the phones and the buildings being so interactive and other NPCs which are entertaining, this game has to have covered it all! It is such a thought out game with no detail missed, ten years out and still hugely adored. The story line is my favourite, the actors are I unforgettable being charming, boisterous, weird but mostly funny makes it so much funner. They are so talented and everything feels so real, gta chose the perfect fit and I love how the characters look like the real life ... MoreThis game has to be one of the most ahead of time games possible, the amount of detail from the big things to little things is absolutely incredible… from the shadows, the water splashing when you walk on it, the scenery. Story Mode: GTA 5 is an action-based game that takes place in the state of San Andreas but in the city of Los Santos. You play as three main protagonists, the first for a Grand Theft Auto game. One of the characters you play as is Michael Townley who fakes his own death to get out of the life of crime under the witness protection of the FIB under a new name, Michael De Santa. He's now living in Los Santos with his two children and his wife, Amanda. Our second main protagonist is Franklin Clinton. Like Michael, Franklin results to a life of crime such as robbing liquor stores and warehouses, anything for some of the needed money. He too lives in Los Santos where he stays with his auntie, Denise. Franklin commits active crimes and does kill gang members but he isn't ... MoreStory Mode: GTA 5 is an action-based game that takes place in the state of San Andreas but in the city of Los Santos. Like Michael, Franklin results to a life of crime such as robbing liquor stores and warehouses, anything for some of the needed money. He too lives in Los Santos where he stays with his auntie, Denise. Franklin commits active crimes and does kill gang members but he isn't stupid and he tries to branch out from the hood life so him and his crush Tanisha can live somewhere away from all of it. Our third and final protagonist is Trevor Phillips. He is the first character in GTA that actually works, his personality being a sociopathic narcissist who will kill for fun, actually matches the setting of randomly blowing things up and running people over. Trevor and Michael were buddies back in the old heist days, they'd do scores together until it all went south and Michael faked his own death, leaving Trevor M.I.A only to return later in the game watching the news and hearing about Michael being potentially alive. This game is amazing, which is an understatement but the open world is gigantic with several different landmarks and terrain as you drive around. The gameplay feels smoother than it ever has before, with even faster cars, even bigger guns, and even more people to shoot at. The storyline might not be the most interesting, but actually being able to plan a heist and pick who you want to hack and drive and provide firearms is mental. Making stupid decisions for a heist can also affect how it goes down, you may lose money, someone might die, it's just crazy how in-depth the game gets. The game can get slow at times but if you wanna take a break from the main story, do some side quests which are referred to as "Strangers and Freaks". 100% completion of this game doesn't come easy it will take some grinding and some time consumption in order to acquire the 100% you may need to watch YouTube videos for help. Overall the story mode to this game is top-notch and I give RockStar props for creating such a banger of a game.

GTA 5 is a gaming marvel that nails the perfect blend of action and storytelling. The three protagonists bring unique flavors to the narrative, making it a rollercoaster of emotions. The game's open world is a living, breathing masterpiece. Los Santos is vibrant, the countryside serene – every nook has a story to tell. Heists, races, and side missions ensure there's never a dull moment. Graphics and sound? Flawless. The realism is off the charts, whether it's the changing weather or the diverse radio tunes.

I love the Grand Theft Auto Series. I've always played them ever since I was a kid (with my parents permission). The game is rated M for Mature but there are plenty of younger people who also enjoy playing the game. The Grand Theft Auto 5 video game is a fun open world game that you can do just about anything in. Play with friends online, solo missions, story mode, racing, flying planes and helicopters, A LOT of driving, no name brand cars but there are cars in the game that are modeled after real life cars like for example the Dodge Challenger but in the game it's called the Gaunlet Hellfire, and the Hummer is called the Patriot. The game can have you stuck playing for hours on end grinding for money in the game if you're not careful though.

A dark, violent masterpiece
6 July 2024

Such a strong and popular game, that it has been released on three generations of Sony consoles (PS3 PS4 PS5), and still looks and plays like a brand new game.As one probably knows by now, the game isn’t for kids. It’s dark, crude and unapologetically violent.Rob banks, solicit sex workers and steal cars to your heart’s desire. Actually, you can do nearly anything you can think of in this game. One could get lost in the mini games, the story, or anything in between. The online mode is still popular to this day, and ther game with more than hold you over until the release of the much-anticipated GTA6.Highly recommend for any crime film devotee.

Works as advertised. Game box seems duplicated though. If i walked into store and bought it then it would have some literature or game promo coupons inside casing but its just one piece of paper with the game picture on it and nothing else. It also looks like a bad copy. It may be different now but in the past every game i bought had either maps or game add ons inside but not the last few games i bought. Maybe its the new norm or maybe someone is trying to make more profit. Who knows. As long as it works i dont care as long as i get my moneys worth.

Great storyline
11 March 2024

For this version I only played the storyline. The storyline was interesting. Some things I liked and some things I didn't. I didn't like that you only get rewarded for some Heists while with other Heists you get no rewards. The graphics are great. I try rob armored trucks as often as I can after getting the ability to purchase sticky bombs. I like trying to invest in the stock market which you can only do in Story mode when I played GTA V on my PS3 you couldn't do that. Overall it was a very good game and I'm very happy. You forget a thousand things everyday why don't you make sure this is one of them ?

More Than 8 Years Old Game and Still Popular
13 December 2023

I can’t belive they finally released GTA V for the PS5 last year. The game is more than 8 years old and is still one of the top selling games. I’m even surprised stores are still selling the PS4 physical copies as well. This game is so fun and very immersive. A lot of foul language and this is for mature audience only. Theres so much to do in this game that is always a reminder to other developers that yes, you can release a finished game without any bugs and forced micro transactions. For newcomers, Rockstar makes the best AAA games and this is it. I cant believe for more than 8 years we still have players playing on the server still.
