Seemed to work, cleaned a jacket and a sleeping bag. The balls could be nicer quality for the price, but they worked to fluff out the down in the dryer. Follow the instructions and check for clumps midway through drying though.Both items seem as lofty as when they were new. I'd been afraid of washing them for a long time now. But there's not a lot of product. Instructions call for double the amount with a top loading washing machine, which does 6 loads for the bottle.

Great product - was reluctant to machine wash my goose feather filled coat and dry cleaning is sooooo expensive so I researched and found this product. It does what it says "on the tin" - a rather grubby coat came out fresh and fragrant. Almost like new. Well pleased and can highly recommend.

Used this to clean my prized yellow down jacket which has gone many years of service without any love. Definitely looks a lot brighter and cleaner! Didn’t shift the bike chain mark off the sleeve, but I don’t think anything would. All other marks and grime are gone. Jacket is super fluffy and warm. Now plan to wash every other down item we own.

Great product! I washed a new designer down liner jacket that I had tried to spot clean earlier with Ivory soap. There was a kind of greasy food stain! I just made a worse mess and the stain spread. I hand washed with the Granger down wash and after air drying flat for several days the stain was cleaned -except for one very slight area I didnt pre-scrub well- and with some hand manipulation the loft was restored to the down feathers. Nice product! Quick shipping!
We returned from trekking in Patagonia and all of our down products needed a wash. I did some research and Grangers down was the best fit for our sleeping bags and jackets. Grangers down wash was great. All of our products have been restored and look and smell brand new.
Finally decided to wash a Arcteryx cerium jacket after too many years. This cleaner was gentle and removed some minor stains. Jacket seems good as new. The dryer balls weren't too noisy while in the dryer. Would recommend this product.

This stuff it necessary to both extend the life of your down gear, and ensure it keeps operating effectively. Sleeping bags, coats, etc., will have their loft restored. Additionally, the wash will also maintain the items' outer fabrics too. There's some added value in purchasing the kit versus getting the wash and some dryer balls separately.Take care of your gear - it's an investment.
I have a Jackson Glacier Parka from Patagonia that I purchased in December (of 2017) and Granger's Down Wash restored the 'puff' of the jacket while giving it a thorough wash. Before I washed it with Granger's, it didn't have the body-hugging fluff that it did when I first owned it; afterwards, I wouldn't be able to tell a difference between the jacket then and when it was purchased.My only suggestions are to visit the Granger's website and use their video tutorial on proper use of this product before you give it a go, and also give attention to the instructions on the proper treatment amount for your washing machine (front loading or top loading).
