I switched a number of my items to Merino (cycling/hiking and some of my everyday). It is/was an investment and I try to take care of my stuff. I have tried a number of Merino cleaners, but this one is the best. Local shop is not carrying anymore, so to find it at my fav online retailer is a bliss..Simple… cold water in a small bucket with your Merino items, wash/press by hand… let it stand for 15/30 minutes depending on how dirty it was… pour your items and water on your washer (gentle cycle) and you are done. Smells great, cleans and keeps your wool better than if you had used soap.I’m trying to add a bottle or two on my every purchase… :)

Simply put this is the very best merino wool cleaning product I have ever tried. I have used it for a decade and have Icebreaker wool items that still look and smell good 9 years later because it cleans the fabric without chemicals. It thus prevents damage and enhances longevity while making it smell good. All in all, I always wash my Merino wool clothing with this and always will. No cheap but worth every penny.

I purchased this product prior to leaving on my Fall black bear hunt. I wore several of my Kuiu Merino base layers and mid-layers. The Grangers Merino Wash did a great job getting these items clean without causing any damage or discoloration. It is basically scent free so I am ready for these items to go on the next hunt. I highly recommend Granger products for your Kuiu gear. Just follow the instructions.
The Merino wash is great for all Merino clothing. Use it just like the active wash from Grangers. Leaves the slightest scent of cedar to help keep moths away. Use it on all Kuiu Merino clothes and Merino socks. Will continue to purchase.
I have been switching to merino a lot lately, I first bought a famous brand of merino wash that smelled so strong I actually set the bottle outside with the lid off but no help. I then found this, little or no smell at all and does the job!
This is great detergent. I have used other sport detergents and none of them have refreshed my wool garments like this. I will be using Grangers from now on.
This cleanser is the cat's meow for expensive merino garments! Even funky, grungy garments appear, feel, smell fresh and clean. After I foolishly washed them with ordinary detergent (Oooops!) the Granger's again made them as soft and silky feeling as you could only dream about.I carry a bottle everywhere now and have found that it's ideal for hand laundering socks. Even lesser quality wool socks are rendered fluffy and silky. Socks which have been through the wars -- marshy canoe portages, muskeg, days in wet boots, mud, blood, fish slime...you know. Filthy and odoriferous socks. Soak overnight with Granger's, then give a couple of vigorous go rounds in a bucket with a fresh capful of Granger's. It truly raises the dead!
Go to cleaning agent for all merino wool items. Would not recommend using normal laundry liquids.Results using Merino wash are always good and prolong the life of garments.Worth the expense.
Great stuff! This stuff does the job, and more importantly doesn't have a strong odor. I had bought another famous brand elsewhere, but it smelled (stunk) so bad I wasn't about to use it on hunting clothes. Not with this, does the job and won't alert every animal in the woods.
