I did a lot of research on what the best weighted blanket for my money would be as this was a gift and not a cheap one at that. I found this company and saw that they had several options that met my criteria. My next biggest question was whether or not I should get 2 individual blankets or one big one to share with my partner. We are both very happy with the bigger size. It covers the bed perfectly and stays put all night. It's been several days not that we've had it and we are immensely pleased with the product. They wanted me to go through a lengthy process to fix an issue with my order rather than do a quick, easier route that would benefit us both. Unfortunately they didn't seem 100% dedicated to fixing my issue but they did respond quickly which was nice. Overall I'm bummed my issue never got resolved and will hold my future purchases and personal recommendations with more pause because of it.However, it is an overall good product and I would say go for it if you're looking to splurge a bit more for comfort. The blanket is very soft and evenly distributed with weight.

I have the regular grey 20lb blanket and I debate if I should have gotten the 25lb. I saw this blanket and was excited to see a larger size. The regular blanket just manages to cover me. Im a big guy so i was excited to see a blanket i could use for my main bed blanket. I was worried about the fact its one size queen/king as my king bed is on the big side but this easily covers the bed. Its bigger then you’d expect. I suggest reading the faq section. When i saw it was 35 lbs i just assumed it would be heavier then my 20lb blanket. It is much lighter. Id say it feels more like 10lbs maybe 15lbs but if you read the faq the explanation of the weight makes sense. Ill admit when i was first getting used to the 20lbs id woken up a couple times feeling i couldnt breath and i dont always use it at night because if the weight. This blanket is much better for every night use! I got the blue one. The color looks great! It has a royal blue to it. The fabric is super comfy!! You def want to get in bed with this blanket!! It can run a little hot but i live in florida. If i live someplace cold id probably love this blanket even more as it is i just want to stay wrapped up in it and not go to work lol. I really like it. Just a heads up that the weight might be less than you expect but i think youll see why that makes sense and it’s probably larger than youd expect it to be, which i also think is good.

The blanket is ok. I like the feeling of the weighted blanket but I honestly don't see or feel any difference to my sleep. I would like to see more ways to attach the blanket to the duvet at the top. It's long so it hangs over the end of my queen size bed and then the weight of it pulls it down. Making it slightly wider (tho the width is fine for 1 person) and slightly shorter would help. Due to the weight u can't just lift it up to "fluff" it like u would a regular blanket so every morning it's a process to "fix" it on the bed. In addition, I don't find this cooling at all. I sleep with a flat sheet, then the blanket, then another flat sheet as I have a dog. I sleep in a room under 70 degrees at night. Yet I've still found myself kicking out from under the blanket ... MoreThe blanket is ok. I like the feeling of the weighted blanket but I honestly don't see or feel any difference to my sleep. If I knew this, I would have tried a less expensive option and that's what I recommend.

I thought that it would be great to help with my tossing and turning at night, but I ended up waking up at 2am feeling like I was being smothered. I thought that because it was a Queen size blanket, the 35lbs would be more distributed but this was not the case. However, what I did not account for was the cost of shipping a 35lb blanket to Illinois. The total cost ended up being $94. That's right, $94 for the privilege of trying out a gravity blanket that is supposed to help you sleep better and ease anxiety. Had I known this, I'm 100% sure that I would not have ordered this and tried a knock-off weighted blanket. So be extremely sure that you want this before you place your order!

This has changed my sleeping habits completely. I feel held nightly, secure safe. It's amazing how manipulating your physical world can change your psychological mind. Definitely has reduced anxiety. This blanket has given my insomniac partner much needed long, deep sleeps that evaded him for years. Will be buying more blankets and other products from Gravity. Thank you from us both!

Was always skeptical of gravity blankets and the hyped reviews but seen this online at target on sale and decided to give it a go with the convenience of being able to walk into target and return if I didn’t like it. The blanket seems very well made, it’s incredibly soft and justvthe right size for one person. Weighted blankets are made to be for only one person so a bigger size is not necessary even if your a wider person this fits just fine. I bought the 25 pound because I’m over 200+, I have a wandering mind at night as well as anxiety and I feel like this has helped, you get the same calming feeling you get when they lay that xray lead vest on you at the dentists office. Do not buy a heavier blanket then recommended, this isn’t a “more bang for your buck” ... MoreWas always skeptical of gravity blankets and the hyped reviews but seen this online at target on sale and decided to give it a go with the convenience of being able to walk into target and return if I didn’t like it. Do not buy a heavier blanket then recommended, this isn’t a “more bang for your buck” ordeal. It will be to heavy for you and probably cause more anxiety feelings of trapped and held down. My wife is 200 even and the 25 pound was to heavy for her, so in that case the 20 pound probably would be better for her. Other then that the blanket insulates very well, I’m using it in the winter and couldn’t imagine using it in the summer even with the AC on. I have woke up sweating a few times but I’m hot natured. If your cold natured this will be perfect lol! I know gravity sells a “cooling” duvet I might look into. You don’t wash the “bead bag” part you take the duvet off and wash, I wish target sold the other duvets like the cooling one!

The last 13+ months of "two weeks to flatten the curve" has caused me to spiral into a deep depression while ratcheting up my anxiety levels to 11. (I'm a poet and I didn't...nevermind). After 25+ years going through my day to day as fully functioning adult, I discovered that I lacked coping mechanisms for things that trigger severe depression and anxiety - things like, you know, BEING LOCKED DOWN FOR 13 MONTHS. My anger and rage knows no bounds, and after desperately trying to claw my way out of this dystopian nightmare that we call "existing", I finally decided to seek the help of a therapist, who suggest that I try meditation. Not to be one to shy away from a challenge, I went ALL IN and not only downloaded an app that I use...occasionally...but decided to set up a dedicated "Calm Down and Chill Out" area in my spare bedroom which is directly adjacent to my "home office". This blanket is one of the key pieces for my relaxation space and let me tell you...it works. I lie on the floor with this thing on me and I feel myself slowly relaxing. I also purchased the weighted eye mask, which really sets the mood for maximum relaxation and allows me to retreat into a realm where there is some semblance of normality - if "normality" now means lying on the floor covered in a heavy blanket in a desperate attempt to forget about the fact that I can no longer go anywhere or do any of the things I used to do, or leave my house without wrapping my face up like a mummy because apparently breathing now is a weapon of mass destruction. Anyway, this blanket is truly a life saver because whenever I am feeling angry, depressed, or anxious (which is like 23 hours of the day), I go lie under it and feel better. I've been suffering from insomnia due to ALL THE RIDICULOUSNESS and this helps with that too - I do not sleep with the blanket, but I find lying under it for 30 minutes helps bring on the sleep.

Not for sleeping (backpain)- perfect for lounging or for naps

This is a lovely blanket. I got the full size 48” x 72” which is just perfect for me as I have a full size mattress. I got the 20 lb weight one in gray and I love it. The weight is super relaxing and also very warm. It automatically soothes me and I do believe I am sleeping deeper with it. I don't have much anxiety but as a menopausal woman I was hoping that it would help me sleep deeper and more relaxed. I would wake up with the pain and it would last all throughout the day. I couldn't figure what was causing the pain and started to see a chiropractor and do more stretching. I then went out of town for a few days and noticed the pain started to go away which made me think it was the weighted blanket causing the back pain. I came home and I stopped using the blanket and now the pain is gone. I started to google "weighted blanket and back pain" and saw that many other people have the same problem. I also saw that many makers of weighted blankets don't recommend it for sleeping - only for shorter periods of use.I'm thinking of returning this blanket or maybe exchanging it for a 12 lb one to see if that still causes the back pain.I would give it 5 stars but for the back pain. Previously I bought a 15 lb one as my weight is between that recommended for a 15 and a 20 lb one. It is soothing but it is rather expensive to have just for napping or curling up with a book.

Not for me. I tried the weighted blanket heard really great things. I’m a rollers while I’m sleeping so it was more difficult to roll around. It does have a comforting feel I would prob use for like couch relaxation but not sleeping. I ended up returning.
