My dog can be picky when it comes to what he eats, so I was skeptical he would even eat these. Well he absolutely loved the Greenies Dental Treats, Sweet Potatoe flavor. He begs for the first greenie and then tries to get a second one every time! I stick with the recommended once daily though. He is 70 lbs so the size Large is good size treat. As he's getting older he's had issues with bad breath and discovered he had to have tooth extracted. I like giving him a treat like Greenies that is actually good for him. It will help clean his teeth and help maintain healthy gums, plus it's made with real sweet potatoes and is easy to digest. They are vet recommended too! I'm very pleased that his breath is improving. Win win! I'm happy and dog is too!

I have two beagles that love to eat everything in the yard they can sniff out. The issue is they come inside and have bad breath and their teeth get gross over a few weeks. I thought I would give these a try and see how it works. Well, let me tell you how great it is. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it cleans their teeth. My dogs were ecstatic when I gave them the treat, even though they don't like sweet potatoes. I have noticed their breath smells better and their teeth look very clean. I am thoroughly impressed with this product and will keep buying it for my dogs.

These are great dental treats. They have a good texture and it takes my dog awhile to eat them, so it really gets his teeth and gums clean. I can tell a difference in his breath after he eats them. His mouth smells fresh and clean whenever he pants near me.He really enjoys the sweet potato flavor, and he can be a little picky with flavors but he loves this one. He goes crazy when he sees the bag and can't wait to get one. And I'm happy that I'm giving him a treat that I know is good for him.They're perfect size, texture and flavor. I would recommend.

I got these for my standard sized, 5 month old Goldendoodle. He has never had anything from Greenies until this. He loves sweet potatoes so I figured I’d give the sweet potato flavored Greenies a try and he loves them. He did not have a hard time chewing, he’s a puppy so it did take him awhile and he was able to finish it without any problems and I give them to him often now. I have to say his breath wasn’t that bad but now that he’s getting a little older and trying new things I’d like to just keep his breath fresh and take care of his teeth. It does the job and I will continue using these, also I have bought other flavors and a smaller size for my much older smaller beagle and have never had any issues and she loves them as well.

So, my dog has bad breath... I'm not sure what he gets himself into lol. I've used greenies before and have loved them, this brand overall is fantastic and my dogs breath is sooo much better than it was before using them. When I saw the sweet potato flavor I was intrigued, my dog isn't too picky but he isn't like many dogs who will eat anything and everything either. When i opened the bag he was so excited! I gave it to him, he took it and ran it over to his little spot to eat it. At first, he was a little apprehensive about the taste but he ate it all up and the next time i gave him one he had zero issues. I think he was just surprised at the different taste haha.Overall, highly recommend!
These toothbrush shaped dog bone chews / treats are not only cute but my dogs also loved them!They are not smelly like some other dog chews I've treated with in the past. I don't think the dogs even really realize they are getting a treat but really it is a tooth brushing at the same time!The flavor must be good because they disappeared pretty well... no crumbs left over. And the teeth look great as well.I have tried other flavors of the greenies in the past but this is our first time with the sweet potato flavor. We would definitely purchase them in the future if we can find at the pet stores around us.
I am writing this review on the Greenies - Canine Greenies Sweet Potato flavor. I have four small dogs who are very particular about their treats. I have purchased several brands in the past and at times have had to give them away because mine refuse to eat them. Not so with these Greenies!! They absolutely love them! I have to admit that I was skeptical about the sweet potato flavor. My dogs tend to go with chicken flavored treats. Well, they all surprised me!!! I love the fact that these treats are also good for my furbabies and helps to keep their teeth clean and breath fresh!! Highly recommend!!
After treating my 2 small 10-year-old dogs, a 7 lb. Heinz 57 ball of fluff and an 11 lb. wirehaired dachshund, to a Greenie a day for the past 2 and a half weeks, I am amazed. Victoria often has bad breath and had been to our vet a month ago, who suggested she have her teeth cleaned again. Brownie’s teeth also had so much brown plaque that we were going to schedule her for a cleaning as well. Today, as shown in the photos, the brown plaque is gone, showing only the typical teeth for dogs of their age. Both Victoria and Brownie love the sweet potato flavor and the texture of these Greenies, and both have yea-go-ahead-and-lick-my-face fresh breath again. Teenie size Greenies are now permanently on my shopping list.
I have 2 dogs. My Puggle usually eats EVERYTHING! She eats her own feces, for Pete’s sake! When I’ve given her Greenies of different flavors in the past, she devoured them, yet with sweet potato, she hesitantly sniffed at it for several seconds before giving it a chance. She does eat them, but a lot more slowly and unenthusiastically than usual. My other dog, a Beagle who also eats everything, devours sweet potato Greenies in a few chews!I was disappointed to see that flour and wheat gluten are two of the first three ingredients. Although my dogs haven’t tested as allergic to wheat, wheat has no benefit to dogs other than serving as a filler, and dogs can become allergic to wheat as they get older. My point is, I would rather have grain free treat for my pets.
