I love this wok! We make a lot of stir fries, so love that I can pop only a little oil in the pan and make a nice healthy stir fry. My adult kids love it too!
I have used this wok on a gas stove just about everyday since it arrived & I am very pleased with it.I am only using high smoke oils (if any) as suggested & it is cleaning up beautifully, looking as good as the day it arrived.
This wok is quite a good size. It is fairly light in weight but still, I must say, it was quite heavy when full. It does have a small handle on the side to make it easier to hold and carry. It feels like a sturdy wok. The non-stick is really good, it really doesn't need a lot of oil, so helps with being a bit healthier. I have to remember that I need to be careful with my stir-frying, must not get carried away! I have used the wok for a stir fry noodle dish & the noodles didn't stick, I've also cooked a curry and it simmered nicely. But with the more liquid dishes I have cooked have made me a little nervous that it would spill as we have a wok ring on our hob but unfortunately it does not sit on it very well, it feels a bit unstable on the wok ring. Heavy base, beautiful non stick coating - exactly what I was after for my gas cooktop.
Stir-frys are a staple for my family so I've had a good use out of this wok and I am still very impressed by it. I've been cooking with less oil for a while now but one improvement I've noticed with this wok is that vegetables are evenly cooked in about the same time. It's 100% non-stick and easier to clean. Another improvement is that this wok doesn't jerk around the hob as you stir-fry - it remained perfectly flat on the hob. I enjoyed cooking with this so much I got the frying pan.It's however a bit heavy so people with poor dexterity may struggle to lift it.I will recommend not just this wok but the range of you're thinking about replacing pots & pans.

As food does not stick, the pan is very easily cleaned in warm soapy water. The pan can be put into a dishwasher but I personally think it is too large and found it easier just to wash by hand.Another advantage of this wok, is that due to the very hard coating on the pan, metal utensils can be used. Unlike some other pans that adamantly stress that special non metal utensils only to be used.This really is a very superior quality pan and will last a very long time. It is a good family sized pan but probably a little large for one persons portion . Food retains its freshness and flavour and gives a very healthy result.I can now dispose if my old wok and I look forward to using my bee Green Pan wok for more healthy cooking.
