GreenPan Chatham Healthy Ceramic Nonstick, Frypan, 28cm , Grey

I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I was talking about this pan to my friend today and I was telling her that I love this pan so much that I’m actually considering throwing out all my pans. 😂🤭 I didn’t realize how impressive a pan could be until I started using this. It does not scratch, no matter what. And I love the nonstick - it’s actually nonstick, not a false promise. It is so easy to clean. And I don’t know maybe this is just me, but I think my food tasted better in this in comparison, to some of my other pans. I hate when pots and pans affect the flavor of food. I love the size too – it is neither too large, nor too small. The bottom also does not discolor after use on gas stove. And I don’t know maybe this is just me, but I think my food tasted better in this in comparison, to some of my other pans. I hate when pots and pans affect the flavor of food. I love the size too – it is neither too large, nor too small. The bottom also does not discolor after use on gas stove. The first photo attached is after multiple uses. The second one is me frying eggplant puree and garlic. You know, you have reached a peak of adulthood when you get excited over pans and kitchen utensils, but I realized I reached that peak a few months ago, and I have to say receiving this pan was very exciting and I was so excited to use it and it did not disappoint. I have been happily surprised with this Valencia Pro ceramic nonstick frypan. I own more expensive ceramic pans and I was curious how this pan would do head to head. I usually cook 3x a day, so I’ve used this pan for eggs, sausages, frozen veggies, burgers, ground meats and more. It’s been perfect. I literally have nothing negative to say about it. I’ve included a picture of cooked egg whites and you can see that they are not stuck to the pan at all. If people are having negative experiences, I cannot stress how important it is to make sure you are using the pan correctly. I’ve unknowingly ruined quite a few pans in the past. Do not use any aerosol cooking sprays, only cook on low/medium heat and realize that a nonstick pan ‘releases’ food at about the 90 second mark. So if you’re stirring your food repeatedly, just pause for a minute and a half and a good pan will not have food stuck to it anymore. I’m very happy with this pan’s quality and with the fact that the handle is solid and doesn’t get hot. Highly recommend.

I've used my fair share of nonstick pans, as I replace them often when they appear burnt or the nonstick stops working. However, this seems like it will be my last frying pan. It's a very pretty color, the gray is very aesthetically pleasing. The first time you said, I noticed right away, that literally nothing would stick to it. I made taco meat, and it literally slid out of the pan with all of the sauce, and I barely had to rinse it to clean it. It's not uncomfortably heavy, but you can tell that it's a really great high-quality material. I also love how the bottom is flat and black, rather than the normal coiled look appearance on the bottom of pans. I’ve had a green pan in the past, but not like this. This was next level ease of use, quality, and practicality. I tried my hand at doing a salmon fillet as the first effort. I will say this does heat up a lot faster than most pans so adjust the temp down a bit would be my best advice to accommodate for the higher temps it cooks at. I only use olive oil and this pan performed so well with the oil. It cooked the salmon evenly and efficiently, excellent experience. The clean up was super easy as well, it tells you like five times in the booklet and on the packaging to use a soft sponge. Followed the rules for once, and it was simple clean up. I have used many pans and recently have changed my pans twice because of how hard it was to clean and cook with. I’ve got to admit I love that this pan is pfas/ pfoa/ lead and cadmium free. Specially knowing that’s pfas has over 5000 of different forever chemicals just under that one name and all of them are not in this pan makes me feel safer cooking for my family! I was very surprised that it was so light weight and easy to clean. I liked that Valencia collection is also comparable with induction stoves. I have many family members who constantly ask what pans I use and if they will be Suitable With their induction stove. Can be washed in a dishwasher and you can use metal utensils. Even though I will still be cautious and use silicone utensils to prolong the life of my pan. I’m glad to know if I do use a metal spoon it will not leak chemicals into my food and keep my family safe. Nothing was sticking to the pan with so little oil was the biggest plus!

Do not buy !!!

We did extensive research on a new set of cookware. We were between Green Pan and Caraway. Unfortunately, Green Pan must pay a lot in marketing because they ‘beat’ Caraway on almost every list. DO NOT BUY THESE. They advertise they are easy to clean, they are not. Look at the other 1 star reviews, I wish we would have when purchasing because we wasted $200+. We bought them not even six months ago and they do not come clean, there are chips missing, scratches, the cooking sheet is rusting, etc. Literally every other 1 star review.. we have had the same issues. Green Pan will not help. They suggest to not clean the pots/pans with an abrasive sponge but do say to spot clean them if you have hard, stuck on things with a melamine (magic eraser) an ABRASIVE sponge???? Great All-Around Pan!

Great pan! Bought our first set of pans about 2 years ago which included this one (and two skillets - a 10' & 12'). This pan is great! Size is great, occasionally wished just a bit bigger when all kids are back for a visit but all in all wonderful size. Cooks great and clean up is amazing! The non-stick portion has always been excellent with very easy cleanup. The youngest went back to college and moved into a house so needed a good "do everything" pan to do some cooking so we sent him with our original and ordered a replacement for us! All is good and everyone is happy! Would highly recommend!

Great non stick ceramic

I have other Green Pans so I am familiar with their greatness, and also how you can ruin them. This pan is a great size and the non stick ceramic is slick and ridiculously easy to clean. The first 2 uses of this pan were to brown meatballs and to precook pork chops to go in the crockpot for a meal. As I expected, nothing stuck to the pan and I used a wet paper towel to wipe everything up while the pan was still hot. Then a quick hand wash. If you’re not familiar with these pans, here are a few tips: do not use any cooking sprays, only butter or oil. Do not get this pan super hot. So I used Bar Keepers Friend which “cleaned” the pan but ruined the nonstick surface. I bought those Green Pan renewing sponges but the pan was ruined and I had to throw it out. For cleaning- it may say dishwasher safe but I don’t recommend it. Dishwasher detergent is very harsh. All your nonstick pans, ceramic or not, will last much longer if you hand wash them. It’s a quick and easy wash because nothing sticks. After hand washing, take a paper towel with a little oil and very lightly go around the pan to gently coat before putting away. This will help keep the surface nonstick. Use wood, or nylon/heat safe plastic utensils, not metal, to help prevent scratches. I like this line of green pan because the handle is a solid metal which feels very sturdy and high end and the pan can go in the oven, although I don’t use it for that. Highly recommend.

Must have

The quality of the pans is on the top of the requirements. I love the pans and their performance on my electric stove, it is so nice to use no oil but a little bit of water and to get the great result of healthy fried food. You also must try them in the oven. Amazing results in the grilling meat and vegetables. I live alone and this set it is absolutely the best fit for my cooking and the must have for my kitchen. Strongly recommend. I am so happy with this purchase, which definitely worth every $ I spent for it, the value is so visible and their productivity it so much appreciated and was expected.

Pans will chip - GreenPan will not honor warrantty

I was will willing to spend more $ to get a ceramic non-stick set since they are supposed to be safer and more durable. I've had this set for 18 months and the warranty period is 2 years.On a positive note, these pans are easy to clean and heat up quickly. However they have a defect in design as the lids cause the coating to chip on the top (see attached pic).I submitted a warranty claim and not only did GreenPan refuse to replace 2 of the pots, but they said the chipping is a "natural occurrence" and that it "...remains perfect safe for use if it chips." (see attached email reply from GreenPan). Although their Thermalon coating is PTFE/PFAS free, I'm sure it is not safe for human ingestion. And BTW I do not stack the pans specifically to avoid any type of scratching and I told them that as well.They clearly just don't want acknowledge the defect. I would avoid their products as they don't stand by them.
