Non stick for about 3 months then started sticking. Always take care of it, only use low heat to warm up and only use silicone spectulas so there’s not even one scratch so I don’t know what happened... kind of disappointed especially that is perfect size for me
I'm pretty hard on Woks. I use them frequently, if not every day. Compared to others, this one is a winner for me. Sturdy with a nice handle, nonstick and it washes nice. I'm pleased. Extremely pleased.
We bought this pan to replace a very old, peeling non-stick wok. I looked into ceramic cookware and I'm SO glad we settled on a GreenPan - this thing can do it all! So far we've used it for boiling pasta, making rice, stir frying vegetables, and cooking fake meat products ("beef" crumbles, "sausages," etc) as well as broiling. Hardly anything is needed in the pan prior to cooking, just a tiny dollop of butter or oil, because this surface is truly non-stick (but without the scary coating of traditional non-stick cookware).Important to note - do NOT use over high heat. We've been following that rule (as explained on the packaging) and I expect this pan will hold up for years. Well worth the money!
I did not get my first Green Pam Wok at BBB- I picked it up from Costco.I had tried pretty much everything, up to that point, including Calphalon, and then, I saw a demo in Costco, and said, Why not- It's not like I couldn't return it, right?! But, what an amazing buy! I cook with it almost every day, and it has been almost three and a half years! Still good as new, and I cook South Indian food! Buying this for someone else. I also have the 10, and 12 inch omelet pans, and they are just as good, though I only use them a couple of times a week. I wish it came with a lid, though.
I was looking for a large wok with a non-stick coating that wasn't teflon and I fount it!! This thing is wonderfully large and everything cooked very well. Very happy that I chose this one and I definitely recommend it!
I returned other woks that were too heavy and this works great for stir fry. The only downside is that it gets scratched easily just from other lids and pans in the same drawer.
I have tried many "non stick" woks and none work as well as this one. Maybe $15 more then lesser brand but worth every penny. I finally LOVE wok cooking again and not brillo pad cleaning burnt hard stuck foods to a supposed non stick wok. You NEED this pan if you like wok cooking
