This cookware more than delivers on non-stick cooking, even heat, visual appeal, and practicality. My favorite feature by far is the way the handles are attached. Rather than bolts inside the pan, these handles are securely affixed to the outside of the pans, make the cooking more even and removing the impossible-to-keep-clean, unsightly bolts. I also love the color, the usability of each piece, and the lids with their easy-to-grasp handles that are friendly for older hands.

I was gifted this set and was excited about them- they have worked well for cooking. However, I was confused and turned off by the smell that kept coming from them, filling my kitchen, and lingering for hours after use. I finally realized that if the handle gets within a few inches of the flame on my gas stove, it melts and the smell is toxic fumes filling my house. They called the melting 'discoloration' and said there could be a 'slight odor'. The odor is very strong and I have a toddler in the house, so I'm very concerned about the fumes, and it is clearly fully melt damage, not just discoloration. This is clearly a major design flaw, as I can see from others here who have had this issue and I find it reprehensible that Green Pan continues to manufacture something that they know is dangerous.

If you want to buy this pan just take the $60 and burn it because this is the worst pan I’ve ever purchased. After only 3 uses and of those 3 uses, during 2 of them I noticed a putrid plastic smell, well the handle burned on one side, then the other time I used it, the other side handle burned and emitted the putrid plastic smell again, all times I never blasted the heat per the directions that came with the pan, to take care of it, yet both handles still burned. When picking pans I knew these were very pricey but I liked what they stood for, clean plans, but after this pan with melting handles and the interaction with their customer service I now see that Green Pan doesn’t stand by their products which in my opinion is not a good look for a company. I will never buy from this company ever again and will love telling others this story and telling them as well to never buy from this company, they don’t care about your satisfaction with their products, so do yourself a favor and find a different clean pan company.
