GreenPan Valencia Pro Ceramic Non-stick Frypan, 28cm | Cookware

When buying new kitchen equipment, I always look at America’s Test Kitchen reviews. I chose this pan because ATK selected this pan as the winner out of all the ceramic non-stick fry pans that they tested. After using this pan several times, I can see why ATK gave it a glowing review. This frying pan is non-toxic which is one of the features I like about this pan. It doesn’t have PFAS, PFOA, lead or cadmium which is great. I have used this pan several times and I like how well it heats up and evenly cooks my food. Food has never stuck to bottom of this pan which makes cleaning it a breeze. This is a very high quality pan that can be used on a variety of stovetops. Ceramic non-stick all have a shorter lifespan, but they're so much safer

I caught a Calphalon saucepan leaching chemicals into boiled water from the sides, once. I'll only use ceramic, now. This is my second pan.I'LL NEVER GO BACKThe first pan stayed pretty non-stick for about 8-months, and I always preheated the pan at a very low heat, used medium heat at most. It's a good enough pan that it still browned at that heat, even w the nonstick coating. The middle of the pan is stickier, now--But it's still a great pan. I got this 2nd one to dedicate for eggs/cheese/reheating Rice and other sticky stuff.I'll use the original for my day to day. I've used this first pan often and well.I plan to keep up this rotation.

Cooking with ease.

I love the Green Pan Valencia so much that I purchased three. This can be used with soft or hard tools. It holds heat so well that I don't have to overcook my food. Debris can be removed easily with hand washing. It also cleans well in the dishwasher. And, it looks great hanging over my stove.

Dissapointed

We received high recommendation on this pan and we're excited to received it. We also bought another pan along with this. It stated that this pan is induction safe. However, it can't even work on our induction stovetop. Not knowing that it doesn't not work, we threw away all the packaging and boxes. Now we are stuck with a new pan and can't even return it (since everything needs to be in its original packaging). Another non-stick wok that we bought here is full of chemical smells. So disappointed!

Great pans!

Pans are great! I have learned to cook on low to medium heat as advised by manufacturer and everything cooks perfect! I have purchased several nonstick pans including Calaphon and Ballarini - great pans but after a few years the surface begins to degrade. Green pans are significantly less than cost those listed. If all nonstick pans eventually fail ,I would prefer to pay a lesser price. I have bought 4 more pans since this purchase.

I absolutely love it!

This pan is ah-mazing! Even heat and cleans up easily (often with just a paper towel). I have found that you need to use lower heat when cooking with this pan though. For example, things I would normally cook on medium heat, I need to use medium - low heat with this pan. Overall, I absolutely love it!

Life is too short to be scrubbing pans!

Since Covid I now cook breakfast every morning. Our induction non stick pans were a pain to clean and I really got tired of scrubbing scrambled egg off the inside, especially around the chromed rivets holding on the handles. My daughter suggested I give Green Pan a try and what a difference. Even the rivets are non stick. I loved the 8" egg pan so much I ordered two more pans.This morning I tried out the 11" pan for some fried potatoes. It worked great and cleaned up as easily as the egg pan.

Started great, deteriorated within 3 months

During the first few months of use, this pan was great, and lived up to all of the reviews. Unfortunately after about 3 months or so of us (cooking several times per week with the pan), the pan started to get coated with old food residue. We tried cleaning it per Greenpan's recommendations (boiling with water, then wiping down), and scrubbed with several rounds of serious elbow grease, but stains/old food residue kept building up.Unfortunately the pan is now essentially unusable as anything we try to cook burns extremely quickly due to the old cooked food buildup. Well Priced Investment

Purchased this pan for my Husband's birthday, and he has enjoyed cooking with it immensely! His "favorite" old pan finally lost favor...and I wanted something that would hold up to literally everyday use. Everything from omelets to fish, and everything in between, has been easy and well prepared. It heats evenly and consistently. I personally love the handle....I have a small hand, and it allows me full control, with great balance. We've had it for a month, and, for now, have absolutely no complaints

Will NOT last

I LOVED this pan right away. I make eggs most mornings for breakfast. Unfortunately, this lasted only about 4 months before it gradually started sticking pretty badly. Now it feels like a complete waste, I had wanted to buy a pan to last. This is not it.Need a plan for a month or two only? This is it. Need a pan to last? This is NOT it. 😞
