I have used this 8 inch fry pan several times since purchased and am delighted with its design and function. I graduated from the leading culinary cooking school in Seattle and have used many saute pans over the years. The Valencia Pro is easy to use, ergonomically designed and has the traditional curvature from bottom to the sides making saute' easy - especially when turning an omelet. The handle is comfortable and extends from the pan in a relaxed position which makes saute easy. The smooth and flat bottom is easy to clean, heats rapidly on medium heat. The instructions included in the packaging are thorough. The interior surface is the best non-stick lining that I have ever used. I recommend this pan to anyone who uses fry pans.

Apart from the cooking surface, the rest of the pan is made of high quality stainless steel that seems durable. The pan is small which is both a pro and a con. The size makes it light enough to easily handle and cook a small amount of food for one or two people with an even heat distribution. However sometimes you may want to have a bit of a larger pan to cook more food. The obvious solution would be to have multiple pans for different situations but it may also make sense to just have a single larger pan that may not be ideal for all scenarios but is more versatile. I shopped this pan for months! I initially purchased the GreenPan Large Skillet and had to return because it was just too small. They are advertised as the largest pan, made for huge family meals, etc but I don't know what kind of families these people have but this itty bitty skillet will not work for us. I love everything about it except the small size. When the 12" wok with raised sided etc came out I thought this will be so much larger so I purchased it as soon as it was released but no, this will not work for us either. It is not even a standard size wok. It is just small. Nice for a couple or small family but not for a large family or a family with young adults/teenagers. I am use to good quality traditional non-stick pans. This is not like anything I have used before, but I seasoned it and used it for the first time yesterday. After using it I am not even sure I needed to season it. Before cooking eggs in it I did spray the pan with PAM. It does say use oil in the pan. Which to me defeats the purpose of a non-stick pan. However if PAM is enough oil to do the trick I am okay with that. It also says you can use melt utensils with the pan, I did not try that. I do season my pans in the oven though so I do know it is oven safe at least up to 375. It did work better or at least the eggs slid around in it better than most non-stick pans that I have used. If a long time ago you bought the green pans they advertised on TV and you hated them because everything stuck to them, these are not those pans> I bought those too and hated them. These are the best non stick pans I have ever had and I have had the "best" or at least the most expensive pans. I have however only used the 8" pan.
I’ve always had trouble cooking eggs without sticking and messy cleanups. This high quality little pan is perfect for eggs. The size is ideal for a 2-3 egg scramble or omelet. I cook on induction and it works perfectly and due to the compact size, heats evenly and very quickly. Cooking eggs is now simple and fast, and the cleanup is minimal as a bit of soapy water removes any food bits left on the pan. And another great thing is the pan just feels good. It’s substantial and unlike other nonstick pans has a high quality feel and performance. Thanks to GreenPan and Influenster for providing this pan free in exchange for my honest review. The Valencia pan is a gem and has become a staple in my kitchen.
This GreenPan brand 8-inch Valencia frypan is one of the better quality pans that I've owned. This smaller 8 inch pan is perfect sized for cooking things like a single grilled cheese sandwich. This pan has a heavy duty stainless steel handle that did stay cool to the touch during cooking. I also did not notice any hot spots and the pan seemed to heat evenly. I love that this pan is oven safe to use and did not contain any toxins. This pan is very non stick and is 3 ply stainless steel. You can tell the high quality of this frypan just by holding it and it's worth the higher price tag. This pan washed up easily, and there has been staining on the inside of it after using it multiple times. I definitely would recommend this 8 inch GreenPan frypan!

The pictures don’t do it justice, but it is heavy duty and gorgeously made. The functionality is top-notch. You can bake in it, cook on top of the stove, and even put it in the dishwasher. It says you can use metal utensils on it but still recommends nonmetal for best use. It is very versatile And so easy to clean. I cooked eggs in it today and they slid around easily with no sign of stick at all. The coding is the newest and safest that I have seen.
