I've been using this product for a few years now, and I have to say, I've really enjoyed everything about it. Easy to apply, easy to wipe off, if instructions are followed. I use this product mostly on vintage Mercedes, to avoid wash water getting in areas where it can't dry, and cause rust.My trick to get a perfect, streak-free first dry is to use the Rinseless W&W with distilled water, so its properties aren't potentially altered with chemicals and minerals present in city water systems. I also use the blue plush microfibers and/or PFM terry weave microfibers to dry the product solution after application.I've even brought a small amount back to France, where it's also put to great use. Hope this product stays around for decades to come.

With the frequent rain showers here in the Pacific NW, my car will get a bit sloppy looking due to road film. I use the Rinseless Wash & Wax and find that I can have a clean car in about 20 minutes. If the car is really dirty, I take the time to do a proper wash and dry. But for light residue, this product works very well. The key to a pristine finish is to follow up the initial wipe-down with a clean microfiber cloth. The results I’ve seen are outstanding!

I used Rinsless Wash and Wax for the first time last week and I am SOLD. I was looking for a winter-time alternative to automatic car washes in our area that have brushes (never going near those) or are touchless and are either derilect, too far away or ineffective. Rinseless Wash and Wax will be the solution for winter-time washes in my garage. And because I have a heater in the garage, I’ll be able to wash no matter how cold it gets her in Wisconsin (aka The Frozen Tundra). As recommended in the Griot’s tutorial video, I prepped the wheels and lower body panels with the 15:1 concentration in the spray bottle. Then I washed major sections of the car out of a 5 gal bucket at the standard concentration using a soft boar bristle brush. Then I dried each section as I ... MoreI used Rinsless Wash and Wax for the first time last week and I am SOLD. I love Rinseless Wash and Wax.

I've recently been hooked on to many Griot's products. It all started with their PFM Towels, Speed Shine and Ceramic 3-In-1 Spray Wax.All the products before I started using the Rinseless Wash and Wax have been fantastic. I wanted a product inbetween waxing that could clean AND protect my paint. That's where I ran into this product.I've used other wash sprays and they usually leave streaks behind or require a little more than the average elbow grease when buffing. This wash and wax is effortless. It just rained today and the water beaded up nice (of course I also have a couple layers of the Ceramic Wax on).I used the 15:1 dilution bottle and maybe used about 10% of the bottle on my car (even after saturating my car with the spray). This is going to last a while.I used distilled water (mineral water can leave spots) to make the solution. I also used a 3 towel system. As Griot's suggested, I sprayed the wash and wax heavily on 1 panel at a time, used the Microfiber Edgeless Plush towel and made single passed (one side of the towel per panel). I then used a PFM towel to wipe up any liquid left over, flipped the PFM towel and lightly buffed. Once the car was clean, I went over with a PFM detailing towel and buffed every panel to a perfect finish. The best part? I haven't even used it as a clay lubricant yet! I still have speed shine for claying, but if this can perform as well for a lubricant, then even better!
Long-term customer. This product is one of my favorites. Easy to mix & use and leaves a clean/sparkling finish on all vehicle surfaces.I leave a mixture in a spray bottle and use it for quick cleaning, road dirt, bird dropping, etc. I also spray it over dirtier areas before detailing; it lifts grime making full application easier with cleaner results.Always recommend to friends/family and several have purchased it since.
Have been a loyal Griot’s customer for at least twenty years, I am always surprised at the quality and satisfaction I get when using their products. I purchased the Rinse-less Wash & Wax as a way to still provide my vehicles with a quality wash and reduce the amount of water used since I live in Southern California. The end result was amazing. After an initial rinse to remove dust and surface contaminants, I followed the instructions using a wool wash mitt and gently washed one panel at a time. The ease of use and the high luster shine that resulted were unbelievable. My vehicles paint looked like it had just been waxed. The finish was shiny and the gloss and clarity were surprisingly visible. It is now my go to wash when I don’t have time for a full deep clean ... MoreHave been a loyal Griot’s customer for at least twenty years, I am always surprised at the quality and satisfaction I get when using their products. Swiss Army knife of car washing. I bought this after I saw the need to be on it after doing some searching on a quick way to wash at home and I really like the variety explain on the YouTube videos put up by the company. In that video it said that this is a Swiss Army knife type of product for car washing, and I totally agree. Inviting myself washing my car more often because of the ease of use of this product. I use it as the way it’s intended primarily which is a rinse list wash and I have been happy with it using it as a waterless car wash as well. The waxing properties on it are really excellent. I love that this is a concentrated product. The gallon goes a long way.
I use rinseless washes a lot as I have hard water, a driveway that is in full sun, high temps and very low humidity that dry water on the car instantly, and a cold snowy winter. Or. In one word Colorado. I have all the popular ones including the very newest one from p&s. They all work well. If you have a sealant or a coating you may not want anything left behind and so you would not use this. But when you want a fast one and done that shines like a show car, this is it. A gallon of distilled water for rinseless or 15:1 spray dilution for waterless if safe to do so. Simply the best. I use it on the family hauler that is in the mountains every week all year round and it looks like new. I use it on the family hauler that is in the mountains every week all year round and it looks like new. In summer it rains a lot up there and we are often on dirt roads, and then of course winter salt and my personal f@vorite the muddy melt goop in spring. Neighbors ask me what sorcery I get up to In my garage as they see it go in filthy and come out like a show car. I do use a ryobi 600psi sprayer using two liter soda bottles to get the crud off outside. Or even inside if it is too cold. And then the magic can happen. There is so much talk of other washes one in particular but this and the no wax brilliant shine blue juice version are superb and deserve a much higher online profile. I frequently wash friends vehicles showing them how to do it and send them home with a couple of ounces to get them started when they see the results and want in.
Decided that the Rinseless W&W is the most cost effective solution for not only a rinseless W&W, but also for a Waterless W&S. GG’s normal Spray on Wash does a great job, especially on the polymer wax side of things. But after ‘soaking’ a thick microfiber towel and also spraying copious amounts on hte car, you’ll use that bottle in no time. A 15:1 dilution of this product turns it into a waterless spray on wash/wax. Goes a long way. It is truly the swiss army knife in the lineup.
This product is useful in perhaps more situations than would be obvious. For one, probably common, I have a garage that does not have drainage. I can raise my car to remove and clean all four wheels but cannot hose down the wheel wells. This product is the next best thing for removing dirt under those circumstances. For another, I can spray dirty crevices around the hood, trunk and doors, and then easily remove bits of dirt with a probe or brush. In both of those instances, this product cleans and leaves a waxed, shiny surface. The price appears daunting, but note that the product is diluted for actual use. The spray mixing bottle is easy to use, both for preparing the solution and for actual use.
