Description The Gripset Betta 1 Litre Damp Stop is designed to use on concrete, masonry and general porous mineral surfaces. Damp stop in light yellow colour exhibits great adhesion properties and protects the surface against any rising damp and moisture ingress on walls and floors. One-component damp stop prevents the hassles of mixing two-component epoxy-based primers. It is best suited for underground and immersed applications. Solvent-free and odour-free nature of the damp stop enables it use it in confined spaces. Mix the damp stop with dry sand for applying it for high-build repairs. It prevents any dust accumulation on the surface thus making it suitable for aged cement floors and dusty cement screeds. Damp stop can also be used for priming external floors, protecting timber flooring, sealing internal walls, stabilizing dusty screeds and priming concrete surfaces. It offers great resistance to negative hydrostatic pressure and prevents dampness on the applied surface. Prepare the surface thoroughly by removing any dirt on the surface including residues or previous coatings. The tack-free time of the primer is 2 to 4 hours and the dry film time of the primer is 24 hours.
