Grown Alchemist Antioxidant Facial Oil: Borago, Rosehip, Buckthorn - 25ml

I love this facial oil as it’s light and a little goes a long way. The packaging is fantastic and makes it look super high end but also aesthetically pleasing. My only negative comment on this is the fragrance is so heavy. I’m sure as a body spray the smell is acceptable but to be putting something that strongly scented on to your face is a bit questionable.

I like the moisturizing properties of the serum and the ingredients but I haven't seen any changes to my skin since I started using it a month ago. It is very thick compared to some other oils I've used, but that means a little goes a long way. It also takes a few minutes to be absorbed into the skin, so keep that in mind. I only use it at night since it is a bit thick but I may try using twice a day to see if it makes a difference on the appearance of my skin.

Amazing amazing amazing

I use several products from growing alchemist and I have to say I love them all. I was skeptical at first that they weren't going to really help with anti-aging. But how wrong was I. I love this oil and I use it in conjunction with the instant smoothing serum. I love the nightly face mask along with their cleansers. I have switched to other more expensive brands but always come back to growing alchemist. They are very generous with their sample sizes I'm a lifer and will continue using this product. Thank you for the amazing products you offer.

Disappointed

I've been using Grown Alchemist cream cleaner and daily moisturizer in the tube for 5 yrs and LOVE it. But this oil doesn't soak into the skin. This indicates to me that the oil is not cold pressed in production. If oil is heated in production it loses all its nutrients. You'd be just as happy or disappointed in my case if you used olive oil on your face.

Go-to facial oil

I've tried several different facial oils, which I use primarily as my day and evening moisturizer, but I keep returning to this one. It doesn't leave my face overly shiny, but does a great job sinking in and improving my 'glow' and diminishing fine lines and discoloration. The smell is subtle, too. My skin texture and elasticity has improved since using this. Highly recommend.

Great facial oil!

This is one of the few facial oils I can use that doesn't make my skin flushed. I only use this at night because it is too thick to go under makeup. I've tried to use in the morning as well, but my makeup doesn't apply well and by mid-morning looks as though it is slipping off of my face. I do find this to be a good nighttime cleansing oil because of its thickness. My face feels well hydrated when I wake up in the morning. I do think it's pricey for the size of the bottle so I may not purchase that often for this reason but I definitely think it's a good product to have when my skin needs extra hydration.

Hydrating Facial Oil

NYC winters are brutal and I often need a serum or oil to keep my face well hydrated. This Antioxidant + Facial Oil is potently hydrating. The con is the facial oil caused pimples to pop up on my face. As someone with sensitive skin and a simple skincare routine, I notice when a new product is the culprit of a mild break out. I layered the oil under my usual PAI Jojoba Facial Cream with no additional products, and also tried it alone without the cream. After a few weeks of trials I confirmed the pimples were due to the oil. Overall, this product may be best for those seeking glow and hydration, but would not recommend it for those with sensitive skin/who break out easily.

I have rosacea and dry

I have rosacea and dry skin. My aeshetician turned me on to this product a year and a half ago and it completely changed my dry and scaly skin to great looking skin. I turned 2 of my friends on to it and they love it also My 39 year old daughter uses it also. She also has rosacea.

Overall great product

This is a phenomenal face oil. I can tell this in combination with josh rosebrook hydrating accelerator is changing my skin for the better. A little goes a long way!

The best facial oil

I am very picky when it comes to facial oils and this is the only one that I actually like. It is a great quality, medium-weight oil for all skin types. I have combo oily skin and was nervous at first, but it didn't break me out or make me too oily, it hydrated my skin perfectly. I used in the winter and the summer and it worked with both seasons. I highly recommend for any skin type if you're looking for hydration and anti-aging.
