My mom has dry skin and she finds this cleanser too strong and leaves her face feeling tight. I have combination, towards oily, skin and this works great for me. No irritation or breakouts at all. I was expecting a more viscous gel but this is kind of watery and easy to pour out. Really enjoy the clean green scent which naturally comes from the ingredients: geranium leaf, bergamot, rosebud. Didn't lather a lot though still able to cleanse face. Left my skin feeling refreshed and soft. Appreciate that this is face, cruelty-free and packaging is recyclable. Unsure if I'll buy the full-size as it's expensive.

I absolutely LOVE this gel cleanser. This is one of the most gentle cleansers yet is so effective in maintaining radiant skin. It's a sensory perception of all that is good for your skin. The ingredients are my most wanted in my skincare routines as I use harsh medicines on my face that need a gentle cleanser. My skin is so soft and radiant after cleansing without any films or residuals left behind. I recommend this cleanser to anyone especially to people who suffer from acne and dryer skin. Pair this with Grown Alchemist toner and your skin will be prepped for what comes next. I received this from Grown Alchemist to try for my honest opinion. It's a win win for both.

I received a complimentary sample of this product. I found it did all its basic functions well—it cleanses my skin with normal day to day make up, and caused no problems during use.The reason my rating is lower is due to scent. The fragrance starts off beautifully—and if it stayed there it would be 5 stars for sure. However, the initial scent quickly fades during washing process to something very harsh and chemically. Unfortunately the after scent is strong enough to be a huge turn off to the product.

I am basing this review on my skin type and needs which don't seem to coincide with this cleanser. I'm in my late 40s with normal to dry and fairly fine textured skin. I would say that this is primarily suitable for combination to oily but really oilier skin types. It's texture and application closely resembles the Fresh soy cleanser. It foams/emulsifies with water but doesn't make a slippery soapy bubbly lather though it is easy to massage and spread on the skin. Best Foaming Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

I received a sample size of this cleanser and bought the full size when it ran out. It's not one that I would usually pick up as it's a "balancing cleanser" meant for combination skin. I have dry, sensitive skin and this cleanser is perfect - it's got a slippery, moisturizing consistency, cleans very well without stripping or drying. My skin feels calm and soft after using it. It also has a fresh, slightly herbal scent that is really pleasant. I use 1/2 a pump for the morning or second cleanse.

My new favourite cleanser

Sometimes a product comes into your life that you honestly don't know how you lived without. This is it for me. I love the feeling of a properly washed face, but every other one I've tried is either too heavy and leaves a film, or else strips my skin. This is the perfect balance of a proper clean, but without the tight feeling afterwards. My skin feels so soft and lovely. It has such a gorgeous smell and lathers up just enough to keep me happy. Love love love.
