Upgraded a older motherboard running on 8GB of 1333 ram. The 16GB of 1600 ram is compatible with the motherboard but will run at 1333 speed. Removed and replaced memory, rebooted. Everything up and running !! On a side note the red heat shields look sharp in a all black computer.

Posted a question as to whether this would work in my 11 year old PC. Got an affirmative answer, bought and installed the product. All good but then realised the hard disk was the real problem. Went into Scorptec, took their advice, bought an SSD and dual bay docking station, cloned the old hard disk and installed the SSD. My old PC now operates faster than it's ever done. A rejuvenated PC for less than $200. Thanks Scorptec!
A huge disappointment I did confirm this memory stick to not be the correct one 4gb instead of 8GB. Ran test on it and yes I do know that memory sticks have to be the same model etc as the other(s). Though having to use a 4gb stick and an 8gb stick supposedly the label shows... and still seeing 8gb? unacceptable. paying almost 50 bucks for a 4gb stick which should have been an 8gb? unacceptable. I believe I will take a partial refund for the difference I have no idea how I can return this item I am currently at the airport waiting to board my flight in the next hour. And will not return till the end of nov I work 9 - 14hr shifts - swing shifts n at times double shifts. I hardly get days off sometimes. again don't know how this will work other than maybe a partial ... I've tested the stick by itself as well with just a test motherboard it read out as 4gb. please send my irritated and annoyed regards to whoever it was that either packaged it or whoever it was that handled it after it left the warehouse and somehow it got maybe taken and replaced mid-transit to one of the locations. The heat sink is really nice. Running on a M93910-UR10P. Bought 8Ggigs of this in 2012, but... Had the last shipment replaced, and the return Item appears to be the same pack of defective ram I shipped back. RMA was approved; no explanation. Ram will not operate independently or in Dual Operation. Will not operate whatsoever. I expect more from G. Skill, but I guess their customer service department overlooked this accident. Looks like I'll be trying another brand. :/... It's weird that the 2020 model can't even function on it's own. Maybe the newer issue isn't compatible with an H57H-Am2 mobo.
