Gtechniq Ceramic Base Coating provides an extremely hard and exceptionally durable protective barrier on all marine paintwork surfaces, from boats, jet skis to yachts. This ceramic coating is designed to prevent swirling and minor scratching for poor washing techniques, while also protecting against harmful UV rays. Gtechniq coating becomes the functional surface of the gelcoat with great gloss retention. How to Use: If applying directly to Gelcoat or topcoat, polish the surface to remove any imperfections. Use Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre to remove all polish residue. Soak the application pad with product. Spread onto an area measuring no more than 2’ by 2’ (60 x 60cm) and remove residue with a Gtechniq MF1 Microfibre. Product Usage The amount of product you will need will vary depending on factors such as the microporosity of either your gel coat or marine topcoat. The amount of product required will be anywhere between 5.5 to 7ml/square meter (0.5 to 0.7 ml/square foot). If opened, use within 3 months, if unopened, use within 12 months.
