I’m new to energy potions, and love GU Roctane gels. Great flavors and the “energy” is noticeable, without making me jittery. I wish I could try more flavors (Cold Brew, and did I see or dream PSL?), but the local store only carries the most popular ones.Reluctant to use Amazon due to reviews about expiration dates, I ordered 2 boxes, and it took 10 days to arrive. Had to make an emergency run to the store, paying more, to have fuel for a long run. Not happy about the inconvenience and anxiety - almost didn’t realize they were still in transit.Good products!

Among the cornucopia of deliciousness that is GU, Cold Brew stands out as the best. When palate fatigue kicks in during long efforts, the bitterness of Cold Brew is the antidote that I can always count on. The hit of caffeine is a bonus, too. Highly recommend almost all flavors of Gu -- but especially Cold Brew.

I have been using GU gels for 20years. The Roctane line is a must have for me on my longer efforts! I love the Kiwi Strawberry, and the Cherry Lime is my favorite summertime caffeinated one. For colder mornings, the Cold Brew is hard to beat for caffeinated jumpstarts (and I tend to caff it up once an hour too.)Fairly easy on my stomach/easy to digest.

No caffeine means I can do long runs WITHOUT the GI stress and bad bathroom breaks. And the taste isn’t strong, just enough to help me enjoy a gel on the road and keep going for another 45 mins. Bought both the Lemonade version and the Strawberry Kiwi. The carbs and amino acids are balanced.

I'm a slow digester so I take one about 30 min before rides, then 1 every 30 to 45 min depending on how long I'm heading out. I seriously can feel the an extra little boost when it kicks in. I go further, I go faster, I relax more, I enjoy the ride without the worry of hitting a wall. I do have to use water to rinse these down and help them get in my system better. But all gels are really like that. The ones that don't need extra water don't work as well for me. I highly recommend the Roctane gels. First time using Roctane gel. There are days when I need extra caffeine in the AM before a run. The 35 MG gels haven't given me any tummy trouble so that is a huge plus. The Chocolate Coconut has a stronger coconut flavor than I was expecting, but I love coconut, so it's not that big of a deal. Also like that it has a higher sodium content than the regular Gu gels. In the hot Florida summers, the Roctane will be my go-to gels.
